Nicolas Wong wrote two journal entries for his Social Psychology class reflecting on lectures about the powers and perils of intuition and the components and theories of attitudes. In the first journal, he learned that thinking can be both controlled and automatic, and that it is important to control emotions and calm down before speaking or acting. In the second journal, he discussed how attitudes have cognitive, affective and behavioral components, and how operant conditioning and observational learning can change attitudes as people are influenced by consequences and observing others.
