Description:
The Maintenance and Stormwater Management Division successfully completed the removal of 3,800 square feet
of failing porous concrete at 7230 Idylwood Rd. (Lemon Road Elementary School) and replaced the porous concrete
with new Stormcrete permeable concrete slabs.
Project Overview:
Removed and disposed of 3,800 square feet of failing porous concrete and 3” of existing course leveling stone.
Replaced the stone that was removed with 3” of #8 washed stone gravel and placed the new Stormcrete
permeable concrete slabs on top of the #8 stone gravel.
Parking space lines were painted onto the new concrete slabs and parking block bumpers were installed.
Parking lot was swept clean of construction debris and opened back up to the elementary school for use.
