The Maintenance and Stormwater Management Division of Fairfax County, Virginia replaced over 8,000 square feet of failing porous concrete pavement at the Dolley Madison Library parking lot with a new permeable concrete. The project involved removing the old porous concrete and gravel base, replacing damaged underdrain pipes, installing a new gravel base, and laying the permeable concrete pavers. The parking lot was then re-opened after being swept clean of debris. The project successfully replaced the failing porous infrastructure at the library.
