Project Details Toll House Road Outfall Restoration Maintenance and Stormwater Management Division Description: The Toll House Road Outfall Restoration Project was substantially completed on March 31, 2017. The project consisted of the restoration of 227 linear feet of eroded channel located in a Resource Protection Area and behind the property of 8232 Toll House Road. The goals of the project were to address public safety concerns, stabilize a deeply eroded channel by using natural stream design techniques and provide enhanced water quality. Project Overview: • Restore the outfall channel with imbricated stone step pools and reinforced bed mix riffle sections • Stabilize channel banks using coir matting • Re-vegetate with native plants, trees and shrubs to promote reforestation in disturbed areas • Provide reduction of 38 lbs of Total Nitrogen per year, 17.5 lbs of Total Phosphorus per year, and 6,033 lbs of Total Suspended Solids per year Project Team: • Project Manager: Jack Meritt, P.E.
