This document provides an overview of a workshop that uses the LEGO Serious Play method to help university students reflect on how they learn. The workshop objectives are for students to reflect on their own learning strategies, discuss effective learning strategies, and identify opportunities to enhance their learning strategies. It involves a series of tasks where students build LEGO models individually and together that represent aspects of learning, including modeling their identity as a learner and what an ideal learner looks like. The workshop is grounded in theoretical frameworks of learning by making and uses the LEGO Serious Play method to facilitate new understanding through metaphor and representation.
