C12 celebrates the learning ones: the teachable, the curious, and the
humble. They accept that they have not learned enough, achieved enough,
or accomplished enough. These are the ones who wake up every day
intrigued about the possibilities of learning something new each day. They
learn from others. They learn from people in every walk of life. And most
importantly they learn from their mistakes and their failures. Others may
laugh at them. Others may think that their passion for self-improvement and
self-growth is unnecessary or unfounded. Others may see them as silly,
but we see courage because it is those that dare to improve themselves that
will improve the world.

through absorbing wisdom
from the mistakes of others.
One effective way to learn faster
is to make more mistakes. Great
leaders' understand that it is far
better to learn from their own
mistakes and the mistakes of
others. Leaders' know that
evaluated experience is a great
teacher. Great leaders' are not
afraid to embrace mistakes. They
understand that mistakes are
wonderful teachers and that
learning from the

others will never learn faster then
what they can study themselves.

variety of learning situations. They
read books, they attend
conferences, they join CEO
roundtables, and they hire

every opportunity to improve
themselves and their companies.

learning. Great leaders'
understand how to put into
practice key principles that they
learn. In fact, the wise Peter
Drucker reminded all leaders' that,
"A manager is responsible for the
application and performance of
knowledge." The real secret is
not to apply everything that is
learned, but to apply the most

In today's new market reality where
change is happening at light speed,
it is essential that leaders' learn
faster. We only can learn faster
when we learn from others. Great
leaders' learn from the mistakes,
successes, wisdom and experiences
of others. They learn from others
and that helps them to learn faster.
As the CEO of the C12 Group Washington DC Metro and Maryland, I help other CEO's and business
executives find new revenue streams by providing great resources for great leaders who are building
a great business for a greater purpose.
Every business owner needs a place where they can get a different perspective. Every business
owner needs a second set of eyes on their business and their life. They need a place to generate
new ideas and thoughts about their business with people that will speak to them with candor and
honesty.
Every business owner needs a safe place. Every business owner needs a place to share their fears,
doubts, concerns, and fears. When business owners have a place to be totally transparent about
every aspect of the business, the business has the ability to breakthrough to new levels.
Every business owner needs an oasis of rest and renewal. A place like this is a place to go to gather
thoughts and center life. A place like this is a small escape during the month in the midst of a hectic
life. Every business owner needs a place like this in order for their leadership to succeed.

They accept that they have not learned enough, achieved enough, or accomplished enough. These are the ones who wake up every day intrigued about the possibilities of learning something new each day. They learn from others. They learn from people in every walk of life. And most importantly they learn from their mistakes and their failures. Others may laugh at them. Others may think that their passion for self-improvement and self-growth is unnecessary or unfounded. Others may see them as silly, but we see courage because it is those that dare to improve themselves that will improve the world. How Great Leaders Learn Faster 1. Great leaders' learn faster through absorbing wisdom from the mistakes of others. One effective way to learn faster is to make more mistakes. Great leaders' understand that it is far better to learn from their own mistakes and the mistakes of others. Leaders' know that evaluated experience is a great teacher. Great leaders' are not afraid to embrace mistakes. They understand that mistakes are wonderful teachers and that learning from the How To Lead Your Company To Create Extraordinary Results
  • 3. LEADERSHIP Section the mistakes of others can save thousands of hours and days of grief and frustration. They don't have to make all the mistakes themselves. They learn faster from learning from the mistakes of others. Coaching Question: How many mistakes from others have you learned from this week that taught you a valuable lesson? 2. Great leaders' learn faster through acquiring knowledge from the experiences of others. Great leaders' utilize the wisdom of others. They find mentors who can give them insight and perspective. They recognize that the best use of time is to be around others who can help them learn faster through learning for the successes and experiences of others. The leader who does not learn from the experiences of others will never learn faster then what they can study themselves. Coaching Question: Who are the mentors and other leaders' that you seek counsel and wisdom from in your life? 3. Great leaders' learn faster through assimilating information more frequently. Great leaders' put themselves in a variety of learning situations. They read books, they attend conferences, they join CEO roundtables, and they hire personal coaches. They utilize every opportunity to improve themselves and their companies. Coaching Question: How many learning experiences did you proactively arrange this month?

Great leaders' understand how to put into practice key principles that they learn. In fact, the wise Peter Drucker reminded all leaders' that, "A manager is responsible for the application and performance of knowledge." The real secret is not to apply everything that is learned, but to apply the most Coaching Question: What lens do you use to determine if what you are learning should be applied? In today's new market reality where change is happening at light speed, it is essential that leaders' learn faster. We only can learn faster when we learn from others. Great leaders' learn from the mistakes, successes, wisdom and experiences of others. They learn from others and that helps them to learn faster. As the CEO of the C12 Group Washington DC Metro and Maryland, I help other CEO's and business executives find new revenue streams by providing great resources for great leaders who are building a great business for a greater purpose. Every business owner needs a place where they can get a different perspective. Every business owner needs a second set of eyes on their business and their life.
