Photo Shoot Review

    Unit 57: Photography and
     Photographic Practice
Task 4 Selection of final images &
              review
Aim of Shoot

For my photography unit I went to Salford Quays to take some landscape picture. I
looked for things that were eye catching and that would make my pictures stand
out.
Description of shoot

I went to the Salford Quays to take photo’s of the buildings like
the Lowry Theatre and the Imperial War Museum and the two
bridges.
Editing effects

I highlighted the sky and made it
brighter so it stood out more. I also
made the contrast on the quays
brighter and left the buildings and the
bridge the same.
Final Images

.
Editing effects

• For this image I used the magic
wand tool to highlight the sky
and made it brighter then I
    used the hue/satuation to
make it appear purple. Before After
Capture log

• Shutter Speed 1/1000 sec.
• Aperture F/6.7
• ISO ISO-80
• Camera maker Panasonic
• Cameral model DMC-F4
Editing effects

For this picture I high
lighted the sky and used
the magic wand tool to
make it brighter then I put
the contrast up.
Editing effects

For this image I used
selective colour and
moved the different
colours around which
made the picture the
colours it is now.
Rejected Images

• The reason I didn’t choose this is
  because there's too much going
  on in the photo.
• This picture came out blurry and
there is also too much going on
  in this photo.
                   I would of liked
• to
                   choose this
                   photo but it was
                   too dark even
                   though the sky
                   looks nice.
Aims for next project

• I used the rule of thirds in this shoot which
  helped me when taking photos.
• The next project I do I will use the
techniques I didn’t use in this one for that.
