Photojournalism
Photojournalism is a particular form of
journalism that creates images in order to
tell a news story.
Photojournalism is distinguished from other
close branches of photography such as:
documentary photography, street
photography, celebrity photography and
social documentary photography.
The beginning of modern photojournalism
took place in 1925, in Germany.
It has changed over the years because the
technology has evolved over time. The
photos use to be made up from film, but
now we use cameras to capture the
picture. Because the technology has
updated, we now have pictures that are in

Fashion photography has been existent since the early days of
photography. In 1856 Adolphe Braun, published a book
containing 288 photographs of Virginia Oldoni, Countess di
Castiglione, a Tuscan noblewoman at the court of Napoleon lll.
The photos depict official court garb, making her the first fashion
model.
In the first decade of the 20th century, advances in halftone
printing allowed fashion photographs to be featured in
magazines. Fashion photography made its first appearance in
French magazines such as La mode practique. In 1909, Condé
