1. Reconnaissance
For my photoshoot I will use the schools photography studio to take the images for
my magazine. In the studio there was lots of things to use to get the best images
possible for the magazine.
I used a white backdrop to be the background during
my photoshoot. This is because it creates a natural
background which allows easy editing. Also it means
that the images can be clearly distinguished between
the image and the backdrop.
Also I used two softboxes to soften the lighting. This
is because it softens the light meaning the shadows
are less harsh. Therefore it allows the image to have a
much better look and overall finish of the two images.
As well as that they were also the main lights for the
shoot. They created the flash when the shot was taken
allowing the images to come out just how they should
have been.
Another piece of equipment that I used was a cam
era. This camera was a DSLR which allowed me to
use a interchangeable lens. The lens meant that I
could zoom in more to create an extreme close up.
The final piece of equipment that I used was a stool for the
model to sit on. This was because it meant that I could
create different angles for the model to be sat at which
allowed much better pictures to be taken.
