Way Forward – Identified opportunities to improve good land governance
• Application of innovative tools and approaches in GIZ projects: opportunities to contribute
to more successful implementation projects and programmes
• Integration of targeted land components in GIZ programmes (e.g. with focus on youth,
gender and marginalized groups ! beneficiaries)
• Use support mechanisms at HQ level
• SLGA: visibility and promotion of NELGA as a best practice for improving land governance
via capacity building of higher education and other institutions
