2. Introduction
South Sudan is a landlocked country located in the
East-central region of Africa
87% of the 12.2 Million population depends on
agriculture, livestock, and forestry.
South Sudan is one of the newest parties to the Rio
Conventions, and ready to meets its commitments
and obligations under the conventions
South Sudan has developed its NAPA and working
on its NAP
South Sudan has also ratified the Paris Agreement
