I am driven individual that understands the importance of relevant and impactful
supply chain for a business and brands that need to thrive in a changing market
place. My corporate experience has given me the opportunity to work and consult
with a wide variety of cross functional people in relation to supply chain strategic
development within South Africa. This has helped me to think strategically across
business chains. The experience has not only consequently sharpened my
quantitative and analytical ability, it has also fuelled my interest in solving problems,
developing strategies as well as driving teams. I had successfully completed all
requisite coursework for my Supply chain accreditation, which included an array of
courses but the greatest learning from my supply chain not only allowed me to
further develop my planning and procurement skills, but improved my ability to
manage pressure, and most importantly understand people even more. I believe that
my growth is imperative in the growth of others. Great planning and purchasing
strategies are developed amongst a team that is inclusive and driven to win together.

Supply Chain Planning and purchasing manager: September 2005 to present.
Key Performance Areas:
o Plan and control all scheduling activities supporting assigned brands.
o Balance production and inventory levels with demand to support target
consistent with 98% customer service levels, inventory turn goals and
capacity utilization/staffing requirements.
o Develops feasible, 24-month master production schedules for finished goods
and component items based on capacity requirements. Calculates resulting
requirements for raw materials, purchased parts and packaging supplies
based on MRP methodology.
o Responsible for monthly National plant scheduling in accordance with the
sales forecast.
o Ensure a 98 % FG stock availability
o Track production conformance on a daily basis.
o Compile presentations for weekly S&OP meetings and presents.
o Effectively use and maintain MRP data as the primary planning tool.
o Play a key role in the execution of new product development and promotional
activities to ensure a smooth phase in/out of activities and inventories on both
raw materials and finished product.
o Ensure effective execution of the DRP, MPS and MRP.
o Ensure that changes to the weekly production requirements are kept to a
minimum but that sufficient flexibility is adhered to in an effort to achieve 98%
