Khan Academy is a non-profit educational organization created in 2006 by Salman Khan to provide free world-class education to anyone, anywhere. It provides over 3,400 educational videos created by Salman Khan covering many subject areas available through its website. The website also allows students to practice problems, track their progress through statistics and badges, and connect to online tutors. Salman Khan founded Khan Academy to empower unlimited people through education using little of his own effort and time.

The website supplies a collection of more than
3,400 video tutorials stored on YouTube covering a
huge number of areas like mathematics, healthcare
and medicine, physics, chemistry, biology,
economics, cosmology, history and computer
science.
All of them are prepared by Salman Khan himself.

 A student can work out problems after
watching a video. Each problem is randomly
generated, so one never runs out of practice
material.
 If a student needs a hint, every single problem
can be broken down, step-by-step, with one
click.

Microsoft Tech Award for education.

In April 2012, Salman Khan was listed among
the Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People
for 2012.
