2. KANJIKUZHY PANCHAYAT
• Kanjikuzhy Grama Panchayat is situated at
Cherthala Taluk of Alappuzha district.
• Because of the geographic peculiarities soil is
very dry in nature which makes vey difficult to
cultivate food grains and vegetables. It is
panchayat which not having forest river and
coastal area.
• Inspite of geographical negativity majority of
people depend upon agriculture,Animal
Husbandry,and coir industry.

6. Financial analysis
• Revolving fund for the kudumbasree self help
groups engaged in poultry rearing in the
intensive system of management with 250
birds each.
• Rs.10000 for each group-23 groups
• Management system includes cages with in –
built feeders&waterers,provision for egg
collection and manure collection.

10. CHICKS
• BV380 and BV300 variety developed by
Venkateswara hatcheries,Pune.
• Supplied at the age of 60 days.

• Kudumbasree CDS ,panchayath&Animal
husbandry department helped the farmers for
the purchase and procurement of
birds,coops,poultry feedetc.
• Training classes were conducted by veterinary
surgeon.
• Healthcare and technical guidance were
provided by Animal Husbandry Department.

12. • Service co-operative bank supported the
farmers by providing bank loan for meeting
the investment.
• Panchayath assisted the farmers financially by
giving revolving fund.
• Farmers were also was very enthusiastic and
hardworking.
