Juan Gris: The Works
             By Marc B.
Born in Real Madrid, Spain on
March 23, 1887, Juan Gris isn`t
one of the most famous
painters of all time, but, in my
opinion, one of the best. He
studied at Escuela de Artes y
Manufacturas in Real Madrid
from 1902 to 1904, but lived
and worked in France later in
life. I think what`s cool is that
he was friends with Pablo
Picasso and Georges Braque.
Gris lived during World War 1.
He was part of the Cubist
movement.
This is my
            favorite
            painting of his.
            I like how he
            incorporates all
            the different
            elements. This
            particular
            painting was
            painted in
            1925.

“Bananas”
This is one
                         of Gris`s
                         more
                         famous
                         paintings.
                         It was
                         made in
                         1916,
                         during
                         WW1.

“The White Tablecloth”
This is
                  another
                  one of my
                  favorite
                  paintings
                  of his. This
                  one was
                  made in
                  1925.
