This document provides guidelines for formatting journal article references in APA Style. It lists the general components of a journal article reference, including author(s), year, article title, journal name, volume and issue numbers, page range or article number, and DOI or URL. Examples of correctly formatted journal article references are also included. Readers are directed to Chapter 9 and 10 of the APA Publication Manual or Concise Guide for additional examples and exceptions to these guidelines.
