Recommendations for Existing
    Standards to be expanded:
•Increase minimum
requirements for off-street
parking to one space per
bedroom

•City Council will only
consider parking removal if
there is a safety concern

•Neighborhood initiated
parking removal must be
addressed through deed
restrictions
City-wide Recommendations for New
 Development and Redevelopment:
                              •Refine the current parking
                              removal process

                              •Increase off-street
                              parking requirements
                              based on the number of
                              bedrooms provided


•Require no more than 50% of the front portion of the
property be used for parking or be impervious
Recommendations for New
            Development:
Mandatory solutions:
•Minimum garage setbacks/required parking setbacks

In addition, new developments would be required to
chose one additional solution:
•Wide streets
•Narrow streets
•Parking removal with platting
•Alley-fed off-street parking
•Wide lot frontages
•Overflow parking areas

  • 4. Recommendations for Existing Standards to be expanded: •Increase minimum requirements for off-street parking to one space per bedroom •City Council will only consider parking removal if there is a safety concern •Neighborhood initiated parking removal must be addressed through deed restrictions
  • 5. City-wide Recommendations for New Development and Redevelopment: •Refine the current parking removal process •Increase off-street parking requirements based on the number of bedrooms provided •Require no more than 50% of the front portion of the property be used for parking or be impervious
  • 6. Recommendations for New Development: Mandatory solutions: •Minimum garage setbacks/required parking setbacks In addition, new developments would be required to chose one additional solution: •Wide streets •Narrow streets •Parking removal with platting •Alley-fed off-street parking •Wide lot frontages •Overflow parking areas
