Jeevamrut is a liquid organic manure made from cow dung, urine, jaggery, pulse flour, soil, and water. It provides crops with nutrients like carbon, nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. To make jeevamrut, these six ingredients are combined in a tank and stirred daily for a week. Once ready, it is applied to fields to improve soil quality and increase crop yields without using chemical fertilizers. Jeevamrut boosts the microbial content of soil and earthworm populations, enhancing soil porosity, water retention, and the availability of minerals to plants.

 Jeevamrut is a liquid organic manure popularly used as means
of organic farming.
 It is considered to be an excellent source of natural
carbon,biomass,nitrogen,phosphrous,potassium,and lot of
other micro nutrients required for the crops.
 As compared to other forms of manure,composts
,vermicompost,jeevamrut can be prepared very quickly an has
proven to be lot more effective.

3. PREPRATION OF JIVAMRUT

4. INGREDIENTS
 10 Kg of cow fresh dung
 5Kg cow urine
 2 Kg jaggery
 2 Kg pulse flour
 1 Kg sajiv soil
 200 lit.water

6. PROCEDURE
 All the required 6 material are added one by one
in wide mouthed plastic tank of 300 lit.capacity.
 The plastic tank should be kept under the shed.
 The organic mixture is stirred twice a day in
morning and evening hours in clock wise
direction.
 The tank mouth should be tied with cotton cloth.
 This solution will be ready after 7 days.

8. FIELD APPLICTION
The rate of application is 500 lit./ha.
It may be applied on soil when it is wet.
If possible apply after noon
It can also be applied along with irrigation
water.

9. ADVANTAGES
 It acts as an agent to increase the microbial count
an friendly bacteria in the soil.
 As preparation time is only 4-5 days,it can be
used effectively and frequently.
 If used consistently it can eradicate the need for
chemical fertilizer completely.
 Improve the PH of soil.
 Suitable for all crops and increase the yield and
cuts down on entire expenses of chemical
fertiilizer.

11. USE OF JIVAMRUT
o Jivamrut helps increase the earthworm count in the
soil;earthworm leads to a very porous quality of soil
which has A higher water holding capacity, improves
aeration ,bring up minerals from deep in the subsurface
that are often in short supply in surface layers.
