Consider a request of Mary and Chris Collis,
owners, for the significance review of the
existing main structure and compatibility
review of the proposed main structure located
at 140 Edgewood E under Demolition Review
Ordinance No. 1860 (April 12, 2010) in order to
demolish 69% of the existing roof to be able to
add to the rear of the existing main structure.

Staff has reviewed the property and has not
found any evidence that the home was built
by a noted architect or has any major
historical significance.

ARB RECOMMENDATIONS
Held a public hearing on Feb. 20, 2018
Found no significance in the existing
structure.
Found the proposed replacement structure to
be compatible, and approved the request with
the following recommendation.

ARB RECOMMENDATIONS
That the awnings over the windows be
removed and extend the existing roof
overhangs to satisfy the articulation
requirement.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
Postcards were mailed to property owners
within a 200-foot radius of the property,
appropriate notice was posted on the City
website and a sign was posted on the
property.
