Consider a request of Bryan Smith, Vision
Design and Build, representing Vineet and
Sarah Seth, owners, for the compatibility
review of the proposed main structure
located at 710 Ogden under Demolition
Review Ordinance No. 1860 in order to
construct a new single-family residence
with attached accessory structure.

The applicant is seeking to construct a
new two-story single-family residence
with attached accessory structure.

Zoned SF-B
Southeast intersection of Ogden & Viesca.
Property subdivided into two new lots (May
2017).
Construction on the newly created western lot
(left).
The compatibility request was reviewed on
July 18, 2017 and tabled pending a redesign
of the roof.

Reviewed for “Compatibility” on Aug. 15, 2017
and approved with the following
recommendations:
Number of roof elements on the front
elevation be reduced.
That the angles of the main/central roof
structure be simplified.

ARB RECOMMENDATION
That the applicant provide updated
elevations, prior to Council Consideration, so
they could provide additional feedback.
Staff has received comments from 3 of the 5
board members, present at the meeting.
All 3 stated they were satisfied with the
updated changes and had no additional
comments/recommendations.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION
Postcards were mailed to property owners
within a 200-foot radius of the property,
appropriate notice was posted on the City
website and a sign was posted on the
property
