Macalester Civic Engagement Center

The document discusses organizing campus civic engagement programs around issue areas to promote collaboration.   3. Breadth: Students can work with a number of organizations but it is both a challenge and success. A success in that students feel an ownership in their work but a struggle in that issues are so broad it is sometimes difficult to find a focus or direction.
