Isis was the wife of Osiris and mother of Horus. She was the goddess of magic and healing. Isis had the power to counteract evil with her magic. Her name means "throne" and she wore a throne on her head representing her royal status. Isis' parents were Geb, the god of earth, and Nut, the god of sky.
