This document provides an introduction to the course ISB540. The course aims to teach students about contemporary Islamic business transactions and property management. It will focus on different types of trades, commercial transactions, and financial instruments like savings, partnership, mortgage and collateral from an Islamic perspective. Students will be assessed through two tests, an essay, and a final examination, with weights assigned to each component for the total grade.
