This study investigates the partial replacement of cement with poultry waste (egg shell powder) and corn cob ash in concrete. Concrete cubes, cylinders and prisms were cast with cement replaced at 5%, 10%, and 15% ratios. The specimens were tested after 7, 14, and 28 days of curing to determine their compressive strength, split tensile strength, and flexural strength. The results show the mechanical properties of concrete are maintained or increased with the partial replacements. Using these agricultural and poultry wastes helps reduce the cost of construction and provides an eco-friendly way of managing these wastes.

Over 15 million tons of fly ash (FA) and 3 million tons of phospho-gypsum (PG) are produced every year. The utilization of these industrial by-product materials is important in terms of environmental and economical issues are concerned. The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the technical possibilities of incorporating FA and PG in production of concrete .In this study Combination of FA and PG is use as a mineral admixture with, phosphogypsum 0%., 5%,10%, 15% and fly ash is constant as 20% , Last proportion was taken PG- 5% and FA- 25%. . The compressive, tensile and flexural strength are studied by casting and testing specimens for 7, 14 and 28 days. It is shown that a part of ordinary Portland cement can be replaced with PG and FA to develop a good and hardened concrete to achieve economy; above 10% replacement of phosphogypsum and 20% replacement of F in concrete lead to drastic reduction not only in the compressive strength but also in Flexural and split tensile strength of concrete.
Effect of Irradiated Crumb Rubber on Rubberized Concrete Propertiestheijes
The objective of this paper is to study the effect of irradiation crumb rubber on the mechanical properties of rubberized concrete. An experimental model was carried out on 30 standard cubes to determine how some properties of rubberized concrete affected by the two percents (30% and 70%) of irradiated treated crumb rubber content as a sand replacement. The Scanning Electron Microscopy for irradiated rubber powder, the ultimate compressive strength and nondestructive tests for rubberized concrete with slump, wet and dry densities and absorption tests were performed. The irradiation process was achieved by gamma ray in air medium with a source of Co-60 radiation unit and dose rate 0.3kGy/h with a total absorbed dose of 70kGy. The experimental results had been recorded a noticeable reduction in the ultimate compressive strength of rubberized concrete relative to normal concrete. The reduction percent increases as the rubber content increases. While the tested results indicated a significant improvement in term of ultimate compressive concrete strength with irradiation rubber powder of 30% by weight of sand replacement relative to one without irradiation. This evidence is proved by both destructive and nondestructive tests. The irradiated rubber particle zooming image at Scanning Electron Macroscopy level before mixing with concrete ingredients proved a significantly surface modification. While, the rubberized concrete failure surface at macroscopic level recorded a bond enhancement. The study leads to conclusion it is possible to produce structural rubberized concrete with a irradiated treated rubberized powder and still maintaining the other excellent properties in term of weight and impact resistance

To mitigate emission of carbon dioxide and other green gases, it is necessary to develop alternative ways by which sustainable development can be improved. This paper discusses various combination of cement with hypo sludge and different size of aggregates. Hypo sludge has a very good content of Cao and thus it works as a partial replacement material in construction process. This study examines 5%, 10%, and 15% replacement of hypo sludge in place of cement in concrete for M20 and then tested for its compressive strength. The result shows that the strength of the concrete increases by adding hypo sludge up to 10%. However, further increase in hypo sludge decreases the compressive strength. Also, rate analysis has been done which concludes that the rate of the concrete decreases on replacing the cement with hypo sludge. The aim of this study is to make eco-friendly building material and to see how the concrete behaves on replacing the cement with the hypo sludge in various proportions. This study also examines the possibility of utilization of hypo sludge as a partial replacement material and it can be further used as cementitious material. It also helps with the disposal and pollution problems associated with paper industry waste
