#Weft Knitting Machine - Weft Knitting Machines are used to make weft knitted fabrics by just a single yarn.
Types of Knitting Machines
#Warp Knitting Machine - Warp knitting is done by knitting in a zigzag pattern along the fabric area. weft knitting is done by knitting across the fabric, Warp knitting is accomplished by running knits through adjacent walls or columns.
Warp knitting is a family of knitting methods in which the yarn zigzags along the length of the fabric, i.e., following adjacent columns ("wales") of knitting, rather than a single row ("course"). For comparison, knitting across the width of the fabric is called weft knitting.Warp knitting machines--needles are mounted collectively and rigidly in a horizontal metal bar (the needle bar that runs the full knitting width of the machine).

Feeder stripe, Engineering stripe and Auto stripe mechanismAzmir Latif Beg
Auto stripe machine give stable structure with auto-stripper device, which could get various colors. Auto stripe & Engineering is commonly mark in use that does not goes with their definition. Today I will discuss regarding knit stripe patter.
Here I write some important topics. It is very helpful to a Textile Student. I think If u Study it u will learn basic knowledge about knitting Technology.
Different parts of knitting machine and parameterAzmir Latif Beg
Knitting machines are mainly two types; they are circular knitting machine and flat bed knitting machine. This two types are hugely use in knitting machine. A knitting machine is composed of lots of parts. Every parts of a machine are important for run the machine smoothly. Every part has a specific function during operation.

In weft knitting, the loops are formed across width of the fabric Each weft thread is fed , more or less at right angles to the direction in which the fabric is produced.Weft-knit fabrics may also be knit with multiple yarns, usually to produce interesting color patterns.

5. WEFT KNITTINGMACHINE
•It has one set of needle and another set
sinker. But needle and sinkers have different
cam system. Cam system is stationery and
the cylinder with needles and sinkers are
movable. The yarn feeder is over the m/c and
stationary.
•Its producing plain or single jersey fabrics.

6. WEFTKNITTINGMACHINE
DOUBLE JERSEY CIRCULAR KNITTING MACHINE
In double knit machines needle
are fixed on dials as well as an
cylinders no sinkers necessary.
This machine are used knit rib,
interlock, and double jersey
fabrics.
7. WEFT KNITTINGMACHINE
Jacquard Automatic COMPUTERIZED FLAT KNITTING MACHINE
Flat Bed Knitting
Machine is the
most common
knitting machine
for hobbyists and
boutique
producers. It have
horizontal needle
beds.
8. WARP KNITTING MACHINE
Warp Knitting is stitch forming process in which the yarns are supplied to the knitting zone
parallel to the selvedge of the fabric. In the direction of wales. In Warp knitting machine
every knitting needle is supplied with at least one separate yarn. In order to connect the
stitches to form a fabric ,the yarns are deflected laterally between the needles.
9. LINKING MACHINE
Linking Machine allows to quickly and easily link together the seams of knitted
garments such as sleeves, body, collars and bands. just place the knitting on the
circular point ring, which rotates as the foot ped.
10. STRAIGHTBAR KNITTINGMACHINE
Straight bar knitting machine is a specific type of machine having a vertical bar of bearded needles
whose movement is controlled by circular engineering cams attached to a revolving cam-shaft in the
base of the machine.
11. SOCKS-KNITTING-MACHINE
Sock knitting machines are highly specialized circular knitting machines specific to
the products made on them. These machines can use any type of yarn or fiber to
produce hosiery and socks made to shape, size, and performance criteria.
12. TUBULARFABRIC
Tubular fabric a woven, knitted, or braided fabric made in circular seamless
form jersey is usually knit as a tubular fabric tubular fabric for pillowcases.
13. STRIPED FABRIC
The term "striped cloth" knitted, or printed in such a way that bands of
different colors, evenly or unevenly spaced, appear on the surface of
the fabric.
14. ENGINEERINGSTRIPES
Engineering stripes is a design pattern which is not repeated in the
garment. One big stripe in one garment. The stripe is so big that
complete whole body. The next stripe repeat start with next garment.
15. AUTO STRIPE
Auto stripe is stripe pattern more than 1.9 inch or 5 cm but repeatedly comes in the
garment. There is no limitation in repeating unit. All machines cannot do this stripe.
There is an extra device named “Finger” that can feed extra thread for knitting.
16. FEEDER STRIPE
Feeder stripe is a pattern that repeatedly comes in the garment &
generally fits within 1.9 inches or not more than 5 cm. There is no
extra device on feeder stripe. Production cost is low.
