Different Styles Of Parenting Styles
According to the New York Metro Parents, a website that combines nine regional print
magazines in New York s Metropolitan areas, several studies of babies left to cry in their rooms
show that parents can t love a child too much. Ferberized children tend to grow up to be extremely
successful later in life. These children grow up to be tomorrow s doctors, firefighters, and
millionaires of Silicon Valley. (Hogan and Haskell, 2). Most of today s kids have one of the
following types of parents: Indulgent, Authoritative, Neglectful, Authoritarian*. These are generally
regarded as the four main types of parenting. These four styles of parenting are the stereotypical
parenting styles most people identify one or both of their parents as. Indulgent parents tend to
coddle their children and protect them from disappointment. Authoritative parents are people who
have reasonable demands and rules usually met by children who respond well and listen to them.
Though they have high expectations, these parents children tend to meet or exceed the expectations
due to the resources the parent s provide. These parents are known by some children as the golden
guardians. They are what every parent who has ever purchased a parenting book strives to become.
Authoritarian parents have extremely high expectations that are almost impossible to meet and
very strict rules that must be followed unconditionally. These adults are the origin of parental
nicknames such as Scary Gary and Evil

The Key Role Of The 1936 Summer Olympic Games
The Crucial Role of the 1936 Summer Olympic Games
In May of 1931, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) selected Berlin, Germany as the
site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, however, they did not know that in just two short
years one of the most notorious, ruthless and supressive regimes, and it s leader, ever known to
man would be elected to lead Germany. The National Socialist German Workers (Nazi) Party was
founded on February 24, 1920, in Munich, Germany. After suffering from a terrible humiliation
and loss at the conclusion of World War One, the German people were hungry for change, wanted
a sense of pride for being German, and a reason to have hope for the future, all of these things were
exactly what the Nazi Party promised ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
When the IOC selected Berlin as the site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, they had no idea
that in just a few short years Germany would be transformed from a humble, desperate state to a
ruthless and power hungry empire. The first part of German Society to undergo a transformation by
the Nazi Party was the German government, which underwent a major change on January 30, 1933,
[when] the German President, Paul von Hindenburg, appointed Adolf Hitler chancellor, the head of
the government. (Bachrach 16). In order to gain power and stay in power, the Nazi Party needed
to win over the hearts and minds of the German people; in order to do this, Hitler and the Nazis
promised [the] birth of a New Germany, giving hope to many Germans fearful of the future.
(Bachrach 16). To accomplish their goal of giving birth to a New Germany, the policies of the Nazi
government were aimed at restoring Germany s importance as a country, following its defeat in the
First World War. Its methods, in addition to strong nationalist rhetoric and demonstrations, included
targeting groups it claimed to be responsible for the economic ills of the country, principally Jews,
who became the regime s preferred target of discrimination. (Pound 65). When other countries and
groups heard about the discrimination and mistreatment of Jews and other ethnic groups being
committed by this new Nazi Party, they started to question whether or not the Olympic Games
should still be held in

Women s From 1914-1928
The Changing Role and Status of Women s From 1914 1928 We are studying how far the role
and status of women changed between 1914 and 1928. It includes different aspects of life for
the women; it will also refer to how and why life changed during the war. In the early 20th
century women s lives were a repeated routine, which unfortunately was the same every single
day. Women were not allowed to work unless she desperately wanted a job. She would have to
work extremely hard to become a nurse or a teacher but the pay was very low. The women could
also work as servants and worked in the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Women in the WAAC were thought to be of a lower class. They quickly gained a bad reputation
for sexual misconduct with the troops in France. But the 21 reported pregnancies among the
6000 WAAC personal in France in 1918 suggest that these rumours were some what exaggerated.
Not every job filled by a woman was a replacement for a man. In 1915 the army blamed its defeat
on a lack of artillery shells. The result of this was a huge increase in the production of shells by
private companies. New jobs were created in these munitions factories, and by the end of the
war over 900,000 women had filled them. However, this was very dangerous work. Explosions
could kill and maim the workers. The chemicals used in the explosives caused workers to vomit
and eventually turned their skin yellow, giving these women the name Cannoves . Nevertheless,
Munitions work was very well paid; therefore many working class women were willing to do this
work. When the war ended men came back to claim their jobs which meant that many women had
to give up their jobs. Unfortunately many other jobs disappeared. There were fewer jobs in
domestic service. By 1921 the economic decline meant that the number of women in work was

Has America Changed Over The Years Essay
America was built off of We the people but the question is has that changed over the years? I
think that it has definitely changed over the years. We the people isn t talked about much today
because when issues come about the government seems to want to please more of the people that
have the problem with a so called Issue . I feel it has gotten to a point that we have went away
from what we have built our country on. The 10 amendments were put into a place for a reason
and as years have passed I feel that the government doesn t go back to those amendments when
making any choices. People talk about the United Statesbeing a democracy, but what exactly is a
democracy? A democracy is basically power that is given to the people and is used... Show more

His plan to defeat free nations was nearly successful. If the United States had not stepped in Hitler
would have been successful. America could not stand by and see other countries freedoms taken
from them. The aim of Americas involvement in WWI was to preserve democracy. Why is that
freedom not important today? Over the years America s freedoms have expanded but not for the
good. People now think there personal preference comes before the majority of the people.
When America established rules they were based on the Ten Commandments. Over the years it
has seemed that America as a whole has went away from that. It also seems that if some people
aren t happy about something its automatically in their favor rather than the majority and this
leads to more problems and more issues among the American people. These freedoms have
expanded to the point that the majority will lose the right to have a choice. One example is that
some people had a problem with prayer in schools. So they went through the court system,
followed all the rules and because of that one person prayer was taken out of all schools. So now
parents are now have to explain to their children why that one person made it to where they could
no longer pray in

Diversity investment among stock markets, bounds and nationally and internationally is the best
me method of maintaining the risk of investment and expanding its growth. The fourth importance
is the cost of single investment; the less money an investor pay; the more financial resources will
have to take advantage on future investment opportunities that expand the return. Becker s final
advice of investment success was for investors to slick with their plan. Lethargy bordering on sloth

Dante’s Inferno in Milton´s Paradise Lost
Many arguments have been made that Dante s Inferno glimmers through here and there in Milton s
Paradise Lost. While at first glance the two poems seem quite drastically different in their portrayal
of Hell, but scholars have made arguments that influence from Dante shines through Milton s work
as well as arguments refuting these claims. All of these arguments have their own merit and while
there are instances where a Dantean influence can be seen throughout Paradise Lost, Milton s
progression of evil and Satan are quite different from Dante. Dante s influence on Milton is noted
by many scholars and is very apparent in several instances throughout Paradise Lost, however,
Milton shows a progression of evil through his own vision of Satan and... Show more content on

In his article, he discusses many of the authors previously mentioned such as Samuel, Hollander,
and Gurteen, and develops his own ideas about Milton s use of Dante s form of punishments. He
makes note of the fact that when Satan returns to Hell after successfully tempting Eve...he hears a
universal hiss as he and his crew transform into serpents which is clearly an allusion to that which
the thieves undergo in Cantos 24 and 25 of Dante s Inferno.
Other scholars agree that there is some flicker of Dante through Paradise Lost but argue that,
although there are instances where it seems clear of the influence, Milton and Dante s versions of
Hell and Satan are quite different.
In S. Humphreys Gurteen The Epic of The Fall of Man: A Comparative Study of Caedmon, Dante
and Milton he says, the influence of Dante s strong imagination, however, is evident throughout
Paradise Lost. It is not plagiarism, it is not imitation, it is the effect that must necessarily follow
from the contact of one powerful imagination, strong intellect, and deeply erudite mind, on that of
another, in many respects, his equal. (Gurteen, 383) While he explores

Reflection About Fenimies
Frenimies Throughout the years I have always stayed strong and true to myself and to my
beliefs. When I was eleven years old, adventuring into sixth grade, I met a girl named Ashley
who turned out to be my best friend. As the time went on, our friendship grew stronger and our
families became more compact, eventually leading us to do everything together. This ranged
from Sunday family dinners to even vacationing together. We were so close that despite the fact
we looked nothing alike, and we were in fact utterly opposite physically, people always asked if
we were sisters. However, as soon as junior year in high school came, things took a turn for the
worst. The beginning of junior year started off with all things being ordinary. Ashley had her
boyfriend who she had been dating for two years, and I had a boy who I was talking to so the
four of us did went out on together weekly. Around Christmas time Ashley would make plans
with me, along with our friend group. An hour before we would go out she would end up getting
sick. I would tell her to feel better and call me if she needed anything and proceeded to go out
with the others. This would lead to fights because she could not believe I would go without her,
even though she would miraculously get sick every single Friday night an hour before our plans,
similar to clockwork.
Lunch is where all of our friends meet to talk about and make plans for the weekend, and I have

Redesign The Rn Health Coach Position
Reference1
In this presentation we are going to redesign the RN Health Coach position that was discussed in
the attached paper. The health coach performs many functions such as manual chart reviews,
auditing emergency room (ER) visits and hospital discharges for transitions of care, health coaching
individuals with chronic diseases to help them effectively manage their illness, and identifying gaps
in care that need to be closed. Today we will explore an avenue to reconstruct this position and
potential changes to the reward system that is in place to increase productivity and job satisfaction.
The health coach performs multiple activities that currently require the coach to manual pull data
from the electronic medical record, EHR. With this redesigned approach the health coach would no
longer complete chart reviews as the EHR that is currently used throughout the clinics have a
patient manager section that includes all of the information that is being manual extracted for the
chart reviews. Also, instead of the health coach manually pulling data, such as who has been in the
ER five or more times in the past year, set up a report that will run automatically on a monthly basis
for the coach to review. Finally, the health coach is currently pulling the data on hospital
discharges manually on a daily basis. In this process the health coach opens all of the charts of the
patients that were discharged the prior day to determine who the patients primary care provider
(PCP) is and

Medical Application For Medical Residency Program
Throughout all of time there have been people known as doctors. In some places they have been
known as shaman, witch doctor, healing man, or even cleric. The way they were trained was
usually through apprenticeship with an older doctor when they were young. As the times and
practices advanced and changed so did the learning of medicine. People went from
apprenticeships to schools. Then the schools became more extensive and thorough. Now
because of there being several different branches of medicine there are also several branches of
schooling. And in order to become a doctor, surgeon, or a radiologist a person must go through
the Medical Residency Program, otherwise known as the Match Program. Depending on which
type of medicine a person wants to go in they have to choose a type of medical residency
program, an example would be that if a person would want to work as a doctor they would have
to go through the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Each residency program was created at
different times. The reason for this fact is that some of these programs weren t need until a certain
point because of changes in time, culture, people, and necessities. Point in case being the
Emergency Medical Residency Program which was not created until 1961. This can be backed by
what Brian J. Zink s writing at http://www.emra.org/resources/emra history/a brief history of
emergency medicine residency training/. The history of Emergency Medicine residency training is

The high efficiency and high productivity of machines and robots cause the employers to start
switching the human labour force to machines. This happens in many manufacturing company

cooking, service human, and even given the right to make decision in military use due to
existence of A.I. (artificial intelligence) too. Entrepreneur Martin Ford, said in his book Rise of
the Robots: Technology and the threat of mass unemployment, robots and machines nowadays are
not only doing basic manual work, they are slowly replacing humans in extending, broad based
brain power. Soon, it is possible for machines and robots to replace human in almost every job as
technology is advancing and A.I. is developing. When this happens, it is not that human unable to
find a job, the fact is the job simply not even exists for human kinds. With no job, it means no
income, with no income, it is almost impossible for human to survive nowadays. You can imagine
that people that be the family financial support, with no job, how are they going to feed themselves
and even their family? Even Demos Yu bou Chiang, the founder of DEM Incorporation, a popular
design studio in Taiwan, have mentioned that the A.I. may replace 90% of human labour force in

Informative Essay On American Football
American football is an amazing sport to watch or play that teaches you a lot of life lessons.
Football is a very challenging sport to play. I am going to be talking about the History and who

1869 the first actual game of football was played which was Princeton vs. the Rutgers but it
wasn t until 1880 that Walter Camp, a rugby player out of Yale created the rules. Football had
some bumps when it first began from the Amateur Athletic Union but got it all settled out and
before you know it the first paycheck was given out in the late 1890 s. After that, more and more
paychecks were handed out and they kept getting bigger and bigger. Now football is one of the
most popular sports in America and has it s own television network. Football has many different

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Limited Liability Company
Answer 1
Limited liability refers to a condition whereby in a company limited by shares, on insolvent
liquidation, liability of members to make up for the shortfall is limited. Limited liability along
with separate legal personality is widely regarded as a means to encourage entrepreneurship by
allowing business investors to separate personal and corporate assets.
Driven by the advantages of limited liability, today, new limited liability forms of business
organizations have emerged. One of these is known as the Limited Liability Company (LLC), a
hybrid entity designed to combine the tax advantages of partnership with the benefits of limited
liability.

Based on my understanding of case law, it is reasonable for courts to lift the corporate veil if
special circumstances exist. Conversely, there are some cases which at first instance may appear as
justifiable for lifting the veil, when in reality they are not.
To begin with, the circumstances which call for courts to lift the veil include the application of
evasion principle. The courts may disregard the corporate veil if a defendant has exploited the
corporate structure to evade obligations enforced on him by law or if the defendant tries to evade
rights that third parties already have against him.
In both cases, Gilford Motor Co. Ltd v Horne and Jones v Lipman, the Courts called for lifting the

In the years following the Civil War, the American economy was suffering from extreme disorder.
However, during the late 1800s and early 1900s, important leaders of American industry arose,
essentially transforming the American financial system from chaos to efficiency. These powerful
men shaped America into a world superpower and the country s economy sparked jealous across the

society as well. Andrew Carnegie, John Davison Rockefeller, and John Pierpont Morgan reflect the

His goal was to spread efficiency and organization throughout every company he owned and
operated. Through Rockefeller s efforts, the chaos of the oil industry was transformed into
order and stability. His influence in this industry led to the creation of a myriad of products for
the public which only bettered their ways of life. Similar to Carnegie, Rockefeller also fostered
lower prices for oil, making light cheap and available to the public as the oil was mainly utilized
in kerosene lamps. His Standard Oil Company served as precursor of America s economic success
both at home and on an international level.
Morgan, along with Carnegie and Rockefeller, worked to make the American economy organized
and systematic. In fact, Morgan effectively bailed out the American financial system two times. At
one point, the U.S. Treasury seemed on the brink of failure as it didn t have enough gold in

The chimpanzee became its own species when it separated...
The chimpanzee became its own species when it separated from bonobos about 2 to 3 million
years ago (Mitchell, and Gonder). According to the article Chimps And Bonobos , this most
likely happened because of allopatric speciation which is the separation of a species through
physical forces like mountains or rivers that isolate the two groups. The physical force that
separated the two species was most likely Zaire River which is also called the Congo River in
Sub Sahara Africa. About 2 million years ago there was a drought south of the river and drove the

According to Chimpanzee, an example of a homologous structure it shares with its descendants is
its relatively large skull. As the animals became more evolved their skull shapes started to
change to accommodate for a larger brain. This size difference is shown in Figure 2 because you
can see the difference in the brain and skull size of the chimpanzees (bottom) and humans (top)
(Chimpanzee). This is because Cranium size is determined by brain size and recent evidence by
(Dumas, 2012) shows that this is likely determine by a protein domain called DUF1220.
DUF1220 is a domain, a sub section of a gene, which is about 65 amino acids long and expressed
mostly in neurons (DUF1220). Research (Dumas, 2012) shows that more copies present in the
genome the larger the brain size is in that animal. Humans have 270 copies and the trend goes
down from there with Chimps having 125, Gorillas 99 and marmosets 30 and mice just one
(Dumas). This research shows the reasons hominids increased in brain size is because there was a
mutation that increased the amount of DUF1220 in their lineage which led to gradually larger
brain sizes. Since the Chimps split off (Figure 1) before this mutation their brains did not increase in
size; hence the reason they are still similar to the common ancestor of both chimps and humans.
Another homologous structure unique to apes that evolved from the

The Stereotypes Of Dishonesty And Flawless Relationships
Growing up, many have experienced that flawless relationship, whether it involves being a
contributor to one or just simply examining others. Watching movies, such as The Notebook, gave
us such extreme hopes as to what to expect when it came time for dating to become a part of our
lives. Sadly, once that time had arrived, dating made an unexpected turn for the worst.
Relationships tend to be dishonest. Having gone through a relationship, I understand what it is like
to be involved in a relationship like so with the person I once thought I could trust. Because I was
proven wrong, involving myself in another relationship, especially this early, is going to be really
rare. Having conversed with some friends who have gone through the same instance, they say that
they will probably not jump into another one until their career is set and their life is intact. The
dishonesty is mostly associated with not being told where or who the significant other is with or
just blatantly lying about it and saying they re somewhere they aren t. That idea of dishonesty tags

Mischaracterization Of Cinderella
Cinderella was created from an old folk tale by Charles Perrault in 1867 which was later modified
by the Grimm Brothers. The elements of the story like the fairy godmother, the pumpkin coach,
and the glass slipper made it famous. The story pointed out that Cinderella, a kindhearted and
patient young girl, was abused by her stepfamily after the death of her parents. Up till the end of
the story, she stayed humble and forgiving even though her life was turned upside down when she
married the prince in her kingdom. Cinderellais considered the most retold fairytale of all as it has

These girls will create a prince charming concept in which prince charming is tall, dark, and
handsome (Steinzeig, 2012). When this situation is not treated, this may lead to a psychological
dependency syndrome called the Cinderella Complex (Wang and Liao, n.d.).
According to Wang and Liao (n.d.), Cinderella complex is a psychological dependency syndrome
in which women unconsciously depend on others (i.e., men) for their source of happiness and a
sense of self worth. These women grew up believing that they need to be rescued by someone (i.e.,
prince charming) or an external force (i.e., magical powers) in order for a change in their lives.
If little girls are going to grow up like this, then the fight for antifeminism would be useless.
According to Valterra (2015), women having Cinderella Complex allow themselves to become
passive, since there will be someone/something to take care of them. In addition, once prince
charming leaves their lives, they become pieces of a confused, angry, and lonely person. Thus, the
future generation will be at risk because the children developed a dependency system, instead of an

Reflection About Witchcraft
About This Book
Many of us move to Witchcraft from some type of Judeo Christian history. It was the Us vs. Them
attitude that a lot of Christians have. Those Christians think that you are either with them, or you
are just wrong.
If what you are used to is less combative, you are acquainted with being part of the Flock .
Everybody in that specific congregation believes the same identical thing.
We are all individuals. No two people are exactly identically and the thought that we all must have
the same identical beliefs is flawed.
In Witchcraft, we know that because we each are unique. We all have unique life events. It s
impossible for any two individuals to have the exact same values and beliefs. What may work for
me, may not work for you.
Because most of us come from that one size fits all tradition, we just instinctively presume that
Witchcraft works the same and vice versa.
That s why so many who are going into Witchcraft become frustrated when two books detail the
same perception differently. After of years of studying, reading and practicing Wicca, I m still
learning and reading. I still have all the books I ve every purchased or was given to me which I do
go back to every now and then.
There is always more to learn and sometimes the way one person may say something you may not
understand, while another may say it differently and you get that Ah ha! moment. I want to help
you find that.

weak minded. In the early nineteenth century in the United States there are ideas of traditionalism
that survive today. Traditionalism is the old belief that all men, notably the oldest should be the
head of the household and that women should be homemakers. These ideas of women still being
weak mentally have brought great opposition to the idea of a female president. Traditionalist
opposition has women body shamed into the fixed standard of beauty being the skinny Caucasian
blonde. People still look down on women in troubled relationships as being their fault. Henrik
Ibsen s A Doll House puts into criticism the problems brought by traditionalism though the story
between Torvald and Nora. Where Nora has to keep a secret how she saved her husband s life to
save her marriage, because she fears a woman helping a man would shame him into leaving her.
Charlotte Perkins Gilmans short tale The Yellow Wallpaper also criticizes traditionalism and argues
the ideals of traditionalism encourage sexism and is damaging towards women. The story is
narrated by an unnamed protagonist going through a slow descent into madness through her
journal, which insinuates her husband, a physician is encouraging her madness. What these two
writings illustrate is that the old traditional beliefs are

Essay about Responsibilities of Personal Protection
Responsibilities of Personal Protection To understand the responsibilities of personal protection one
must first understand what personal protection is. Once this is established one can begin to discuss
the responsibilities and duties of personal protection, the rationale for personal protection, and
finally, the history, and evolution of securityand personal protection. Personal protection is
important in the security industry and a profession that continues to change and evolve. Personal
protection protects individuals and groups who many not be able to protect themselves from

It has been influenced by many cultures throughout the world. For year s individuals and groups
of individuals had the need for protection, allowing them to live, work, and play in a stable
environment free from harm or the thought of harm. Security has grown and evolved throughout
the years; initiated and developed after significant events, such as war and catastrophic events.
Personal security and the use of body guards dates back as far back as 1100 to 1300 B.C. Where
Egyptian pharaohs used Sherdens as their personal body guards. Sherdens had exceptional
fighting skills and were willing to changes sides for money. Perhaps the most famous Egyptian
known for using bodyguards was Pharaoh Ramses II, whose bodyguards fought viciously to
protect him in the Battle of Kadesh (Williams, 2002). Then in 27 B.C. the emperor of Rome,
Augustus, formed the Praetorian Guard. The Praetorian Guard protected the life and property of
the emperor and various Roman generals as well as keeping the peace. Praetorians were recruited
from veteran Italian Legionaries. This was an honored position and considered an elite status. Often
these guardsmen would often travel on campaigns with the Emperor. Over the years the Praetorian
Guard grew powerful and influenced the appointment of Roman emperors, for this the Praetorians
were disbanded 312 AD by Constantine (UNRV History, 2012). Security continued to evolve in

Reseach Proposal-Consumer Behaviour to Change in Packaging...
CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR TO CHANGE IN PACKAGING DESIGN OF FMCG PRODUCTS.
Introduction
Design is increasingly used by firms as a strategy to create a substantial competitive advantage.
Good design uniquely differentiates a product. Companies mastering the art of design have
emerged as leaders in their respective markets. In this proposal, i examine how consumers respond
to the visual aspects of packaging design and benefits of studying consumer behavior.
The importance of packaging design as a vehicle for communication and branding is growing in
competitive markets for packaged FMCG products. This research utilized a focus group
methodology to understand consumer behavior toward such products. The challenge for
researchers is to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In time, packaging weight has decreased as compared to the packed product. Nevertheless,
consumption patterns have generated a higher packaging volume because of the constant changes
in demography and life styles. It is the volume of packaging and not so much its weight that
attracts critical eyes (Calver, 2004). In addition, the predilection for pre packed food has increased
the amount of plastic waste within the general waste flow.
ConsumerPsychologist.com, part of the University of Southern California, define consumer
behaviour as the study of individuals, groups or organizations and the processes they use to select,
secure, use and dispose of products, services, experiences or ideas to satisfy needs. Essentially,
consumer behavior deals with how frequently a person or organization may purchase an item from
a company. It closely relates to elements of customer service such as problem resolution and overall
satisfaction and to marketing strategies such as pricing, promotion and product placement.
Why Study Consumer Behaviour?
Understanding consumer behaviour may lead to changes in the design of a pilot product, a product
s packaging or its position within the store. Understanding why customers buy what they do also
helps a company create campaigns to encourage repeat purchase and referrals.
Consumers make decisions for different

Starbucks Culture In North America
People in North American countries are privileged enough to be able to express their religions in
public places such as a coffee shop. Some of them are ignorant enough to think that a coffee shop
not putting Christmas decorations on a cup is war on Christianity.
Starbucks, who usually changes the appearance of their cups to celebrate the holidays to have
Christmas decorations and symbols on them, has recently changed the look to being a sleek berry

Factors Influencing Dynamic Control Of The Helicopter Pilots
The helicopter pilots, in general, are required to be skillful in operations on both improved and
unimproved surfaces. During normal or slope takeoffs and landings with some degree of bank
angle or side drift with one skid or wheel on the ground causes the helicopter to roll. When the
rollover happens, the lateral cyclic control response becomes more sluggish and less effective than
for a hovering helicopter. Consequently, if a roll rate is permitted to develop, a critical bank angle
may be reached where roll cannot be corrected, even with full lateral cyclic, and the helicopter
will roll over onto its side. As the roll rate increases, the angle at which recovery is still possible
is significantly reduced. The critical rollover angle is also reduced. So, the goal of this essay is to
cover the factors influencing dynamic control such as solo flight, cross wind, tail rotorthrust etc. and
understand the recognition of dynamic rollover, how to avoid it and steps required for recovery. In
addition, the effects of critical rollover angle on dynamic rollover and factors influencing dynamic
rollover are also discussed.
Introduction:
An increasing percentage of helicopter accidents are attributed to dynamic rollover, results in
destruction of helicopter and some serious injuries to the helicopter pilots and crew. The dynamic
rollover is a condition of power flight, where helicopter tends to roll laterally. When a helicopter is
lifting off the ground or it is hovering with one

Interpretation Of Genesis
The Bible is the world s most widely read book. It contains multiple holy books that reveal who
God is and account for His many works for humankind. These books describe the story of God
from creation, to the fall, to redemption, and lastly to the new creation known as revelation. The big
picture of the Bibleis to tell the story of God s works from creation of the world, which was
Genesis, to the end, which is revelation. It is important to familiarize oneself with these passages
and texts because they serve the purpose to teach important lessons to help humankind live in
God s image. As stated in the ESV Study Guide, The Bible contains 66 books, written in three
languages over 1,500 years by dozens of authors writing in numerous genres for diverse
audiences. For this reason, the meaning of the texts of the Bible are left to each reader s
interpretations and requires technical skill and spiritual receptivity. This assignment will
demonstrate my knowledge and interpretation of the Bible and its big picture. Graeme
Goldsworthy s work on biblical theology, outlines the story of the bible as God s people in God s
place under God s rule, meaning God is the creator of everything (Shaw). The bible begins with the
book of Genesis. Genesis comes from the Greek word of origin . It is the book of the origin of
the world and the beginning of Creation, as God is the creator of all things, include people. The

Quinn cannot leave his home to detach himself because he is already detached. Everything that
defined Quinn is gone. The things he loved were what kept him grounded to reality, but It had
been more than five years now. He did not think about his son very much anymore, and only
recently he had removed the photograph of his wife from the wall (5). He rarely thinks about
the things he used to love so he is ungrounded. Quinn taking down the photograph of his wife
exemplifies his detachment within his own home. His walks can only be explained as his lost
soul wandering; attempting to find his utopian purgatory, his space. He expects that one day he
will somehow just come across his utopia. Unbeknownst to Quinn, in order to remove himself
from his endless path he must receive a direction from a higher power. The death of Blue in
Ghosts, is also relevant. Similar to Quinn, Blue experiences his death in a long process, but only
after he begins his assignment given to him. His ascendance to the purgatorial state is exhibited
when Auster describes, There are moments when he feels so completely in harmony with Black,
so naturally at one with the other man, that to anticipate what Black is going to do, to know when

Scottsboro Trial Research Paper
Today, in the United States, people are not punished for the color of their skin, back in the
1930s, a person s race was taken into consideration when in court. There are many instances of
racism in both trials, which impacted the outcome. The Scottsboro Trial consisted of two white
girls and a group of black youths. 21 year old Victoria Price and 17 year old Ruby Bates were on a
train ride back to their hometown, Huntsville, with a group of seven white boys. A group of 12
15 black youths were said to have joined the train and, later, a white boy, stepped on Haywood

After this, the white girls claimed that they were raped, each by six black males.... Show more

One reason why their testimonies were doubted was because of their sketchy backgrounds.
Because of their backgrounds, they were not respected by their community and, therefore, they
were not trusted. Before the Scottsboro trials, both Victoria and Ruby worked at the Margaret Mill
and they grew up lacking a father figure, something that brought shame to their families. Also,
Victoria was said to be a prostitute and Ruby lived among Negroes (Ransdall). In To Kill a
Mockingbird, Scout is deceived by Mayella s appearance, but then sees the true Mayella, ... she
seemed somehow fragile looking, but when she sat facing us in the witness chair she became
what she was, a thick bodied girl accustomed to strenuous labor (Lee 239). All three of the girls
skin color also affected the outcome of the trials, they were all privileged white ladies, for that
reason, the jury belived whatever they said. One of the black youths accused of rape, disclosed
his thoughts saying, I knew if a white woman accused a black man of rape, he was as good as
dead (Linder, Famous Trials ). This man knew he had little hope of winning the trial, like Atticus
in To Kill a Mockingbird. Attics knew that Mayella had the upper hand in this case because of her
skin color, about this he says, She is the victim of cruel poverty and ignorance, but I cannot pity
her: she is white.

Brassica Plant Observation
Second Grade, Unit 1, Cornerstone 1, Lessons
I am a Botanist! Planting a Seed!
Cornerstone Summary
Second graders will be a Brassica plant investigator, or botanist. This will also provide students
with a deeper look into the plant kingdom. Students will care for plants to see what they need to
grow and develop. They will observe, investigate and discover what plants need to propagate and
grow. Throughout this Cornerstone they will be their very own Brassica investigator by planting,
observing and taking care of their own Brassica plant. They will record their work in a Plant
Observation Journal. Teachers will need to help students understand the necessity of proper care
for their plants in order for them to survive and grow. They will need to learn the vocabulary a
botanist would use to write observations.
Note: This Cornerstone supports cross disciplinary study with the Grade 2 Science Cornerstone,
The Best of Bugs: Designing Hand Pollinators. This ELA Cornerstone builds plant related
vocabulary and helps students understand the life cycle of plants. The Best of Bugs expands on
the part of the life cycle related to seed dispersal and pollination and develops concepts of
interdependence on plants and animals.
Overview
In this activity, students will begin the process of planting and nurturing their very own brassica
plant (i.e., mustard seeds). It will focus on the introduction of plants, where they live, and how they
grow and reproduce. Students will record their findings in a Plant Observation Journal. Standards

Transcription of ET 1 can be upregulated by various stimuli some of which include hypoxia, shear

ET 1 receptors
ET 1 activates two subtypes of endothelin receptors (ETA and ETB receptors) which are guanine

and mediate different downstream pathways. As a result, ET 1 can have diverse effects on the

The vasoconstrictive effects of ET 1 are a result of predominately ETA and, to a lesser extent, ETB
receptors which are expressed on vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs). Activation of these
receptors leads to IP3 mediated increases in intracellular calcium from sarcoplasmic reticulum

subsequent vasoconstriction. Mitogenic effects of ET 1 can also be seen by activation of both
receptors which results in VSMC proliferation and thus contributes to

Black Masculinity And The Black Of A Black Boy s Life
Throughout the matriculation of a black boy s life, there are many, (labeled natural, yet are
culturally, socially and institutionally based) factors, that govern the holistic views and beliefs
entailed to the child. From that moment on, challenging the social structures that these norms entail
suggest a sense of sensitivity, homosexualityor weakness, ultimately emasculating the highly
regarded social stigmas attached with being a man. Despite being indoctrinated into the minds of
black boys from an early age, there are many long lasting effects of masculinity that are in turn
reciprocated in the role of black fathers, husbands, brothers and friends. Black masculinity is the self
deteriorating idealisms that attack the identity and social positions black men ascribe to.
The identity of the black man is the most crucial element attacked by black masculinity. Stemming
from a limited variety of acceptable self expression, black masculinity emphasizes the need for an
overly tough outer appearance while internally suppressing emotions of fear and sadness. These
notions are particularly vivid in mainstream hip hop culture. In Byron Hurt s Hip hop Beyond Beats
and Rhymes, Hurt sits down with some of the industries most respected artist who attest that
anything nonhood will dilute [their] toughness. Nonhood suggesting outwardly signs of affection,
comfortability in the uprise of woman, and the dialogue and communication between Black
brothers both verbal and nonverbal. These

Different Types Of Market Structures
Market Structures A market is defined as an institution that brings together buyers (demanders) and
sellers (suppliers) of a particular good or service. A Market structure is the relationship among the
buyers and sellers of a market and how prices are determined through outside influences. There are
four different types of market structures. Two on opposite extremes, and two comfortably in the
middle. On one end is perfect competition, which acts as a starting point in price and output
determination. Pure competition is when a large number of firms sell a standardized product, entry
and exit is very easy, and an individual firm cannot control the price. On the other extreme end is
Pure monopoly. A monopoly is characterized by an absence of competition, which will often allow
one seller to control the market. A Pure monopoly is essentially the same thing, but also includes
near impossible entry and no substitute goods. Two more common market structures are
monopolistic competition and oligopoly. Monopolistic competition has a large number of sellers
producing different products, while an oligopoly has only a few number of sellers producing
similar products. All in all pure competition, pure monopoly, monopolistic competition, and
oligopoly are all unique market structures with differing characteristics, but have one main goal,
profit maximization. A pure competition market may be be rare in the real world, but it acts as a
vital introduction into the topic of markets. To

Cosmetic Surgery is a Worldwide Epidemic Essay
Everywhere you look; from billboards to TV the effects of plastic surgery have left its mark. In
fact, a couple of weeks ago, a famous music icon passed, and for a whole week all the media did
was talk about the plastic surgery done to his face. These days people are having rhinoplasty,
liposuction, tummy tucks, face lifts, and most commonly breast augmentation. Science is making it
easier to change the appearance of ones self. This brings me to believe, cosmetic surgery is an
epidemic that has affected the whole world.
A while back on a popular morning show, the host was interviewing a guest star. Then the host
brings up that the guest star has had a breast augmentation. Then the guest star looks at him, and
says, Everybody s doing ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Adults with big money have been the ones affected the most with these celebrity trends. However,
teenager girls have been affected more than they should. Instead of a parent telling the teenager
they look beautiful, no matter how many minor imperfections they have. Most parents are
shockingly giving their teenagers liposuction as birthday presents. Instead of loosing weight in a
healthy way with diet and exercise, these teens are going under anesthesia. Most teenagers after the
surgery have scars left on their body, which never heal. In today s world, many people are confused
about their gender. This has led numerous people to plastic surgery. A countless number of them
feel the only way to truly be themselves is through getting a sex transformation. Even though
many of them get the surgery on the down low, the effects from the surgery eventually come to
light. On the Jerry Springer show, a number of episodes involved the audience guessing what the
gender of the person was before they underwent surgery. It s sad to say, that the majority of the
women on the show were originally men. The expenses of buying a whole new lifestyle, the
emotional drainage they are likely to face, and the periods of physical pain in hormonal change all
are factors they deal with after plastic surgery. Whether broadcasted through media or magazines
plastic surgery interest everyone, I truly believe Hollywood is addicted to it. I believe that the
media projects images

MODULE 04 Cross Cultural Competency Culture Culture is the pattern of action and the ways of
perceiving, feeling, and thinking acquired growing up in a particular group of people
Ethnocentrism Ethnocentrism is the attitude held by the members of a culture that theirs is the
only true, right, and best way to view and act in the world. Cultural relativism Cultural relativism is
the idea that human behavior, ideas, and emotions must be understood in the context of the whole
culture in which they occur. Culture shock Culture shock is the feelings of alienation, hostility,
heightened ethnocentrism, sense of loss, depression and/or self doubt that may result from

Things that we would call beliefs are often thought of by other cultures as just the way things are
matters of fact, not opinion. Religious belief systems in particular and other aspects of locals
world view can be driving motivators for conflict; economics is not the only reason people fight.
Power Systems In most cultures, any visible formal power structure will lie over a more
fundamental, less formal, structure of influence. This underlying power system will often be
based on patron client relations, in which patrons become influential by acquiring clients who
owe them favors. Often, this takes a pyramid form as more powerful patrons acquire clients who
have clients of their own. Interacting directly with this patron client power system can be more
effective than trying to deal with people in overt formal positions of power. Kinship Kinship is
usually much more of a cohesive social force in non Western societies. Kin group members
internalize a corporate identity the family is viewed as an extension of the self. Often large,
pyramid shaped kin groups usually descendants of one man (or, rarely, woman) and their
dependents serve to organize political, military, economic, and religious activities. City vs Country
People in the city generally have much different ways of living and worldviews than people in the
country. Adherence to rural customs may begin to slacken, groups of acquaintances and

Internet Changed America
Advances in the internet have changed the way America works, learns, and communicates. The
internet has become an integral part of our social life. This has assisted us by communicating and
research purposes. To begin, the internet has helped us evolve communication. From having to give
a messenger you message could take as long as 30 days,to now that we just simply turn on our
phones, and click the send button and help us communicate all over the world in just seconds.
Before the internet,if you wanted to keep up with the news, you had to walk down to the
newsstand when it opened in the morning. Imagine living in a world where sending an urgent text
to a friend or a loved one could take up to days or months. This is a perfect example of what

financial management problems 6301
1. There are two identical firms EQT Corp and DBT Corp except for their capital structure. For
example none of the firms pay taxes, and EBIT is $22,000 per year for both firms. There is no
growth for any of the firms. EQT is an all equity firm with 1,000 shares outstanding and expected
return of 22%. Since there is no growth, EQT will pay out all earnings to shareholders as
dividends. In contrast, DBT has $40,000 worth of debt outstanding with interest rate of 5%. There
are 500 shares of equity outstanding for DBT Corp. After the interest expense,
DBT will also pay out all the earnings to its shareholders.
(a) What are the equity values of both EQT Corp and DBT Corp? And, what are both companies
stock prices?
(b) What is the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What would be the total equity value if Upjohn were 100% equity finance?
1.
(a) Since EQT is an all equity firm, its earnings are $22,000. Thus firm value is the equity value,
which is the discounted future dividends, VEQT =EEQT =$22,000/22% =$100,000. Since there
are 1,000 share outstanding, price of EQT is: PEQT
= $100,000/1,000=$100 per share. DBT is a leveled company. Since DBT and EQT are exactly the
same except for their capital structure. We can consider DBT as the leveled company of EQT.
According to MMI, when there is no tax, the value of an all equity firm should be equal to the
value of the leveled company. Therefore, we have VDBT
=VEQT = $100,000. The total equity value of DBT should be EDBT = VDBT DDBT = $100,000
$40,000 = $60,000.
Therefore, we have the stock price for DBT: PDBT = $60,000/500=$120
(b) The expected return on DBT: ($22,000 5%*$40,000)/$60,000=33.33%. Therefore DBT is
riskier than EQT since
EQT has fewer number of equityholders but bears the same total amount of risk.
(c) John s total dividend payment from holding 200 shares of EQTT Corp is $4,400
(=22%*($100*200)). Since DBT is a leveled company, you need to unlevel yourself by selling some
of your shares in DBT and deposit the proceeds at the risk free rate. Suppose you will need to sell x
shares in DBT, i.e. to deposit ($120*x), your total income flow will be
[$120*(212 x)*33.33%+$120*x*5%].

  • 2. Different Styles Of Parenting Styles According to the New York Metro Parents, a website that combines nine regional print magazines in New York s Metropolitan areas, several studies of babies left to cry in their rooms show that parents can t love a child too much. Ferberized children tend to grow up to be extremely successful later in life. These children grow up to be tomorrow s doctors, firefighters, and millionaires of Silicon Valley. (Hogan and Haskell, 2). Most of today s kids have one of the following types of parents: Indulgent, Authoritative, Neglectful, Authoritarian*. These are generally regarded as the four main types of parenting. These four styles of parenting are the stereotypical parenting styles most people identify one or both of their parents as. Indulgent parents tend to coddle their children and protect them from disappointment. Authoritative parents are people who have reasonable demands and rules usually met by children who respond well and listen to them. Though they have high expectations, these parents children tend to meet or exceed the expectations due to the resources the parent s provide. These parents are known by some children as the golden guardians. They are what every parent who has ever purchased a parenting book strives to become. Authoritarian parents have extremely high expectations that are almost impossible to meet and very strict rules that must be followed unconditionally. These adults are the origin of parental nicknames such as Scary Gary and Evil ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The Key Role Of The 1936 Summer Olympic Games The Crucial Role of the 1936 Summer Olympic Games In May of 1931, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) selected Berlin, Germany as the site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, however, they did not know that in just two short years one of the most notorious, ruthless and supressive regimes, and it s leader, ever known to man would be elected to lead Germany. The National Socialist German Workers (Nazi) Party was founded on February 24, 1920, in Munich, Germany. After suffering from a terrible humiliation and loss at the conclusion of World War One, the German people were hungry for change, wanted a sense of pride for being German, and a reason to have hope for the future, all of these things were exactly what the Nazi Party promised ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... When the IOC selected Berlin as the site for the 1936 Summer Olympic Games, they had no idea that in just a few short years Germany would be transformed from a humble, desperate state to a ruthless and power hungry empire. The first part of German Society to undergo a transformation by the Nazi Party was the German government, which underwent a major change on January 30, 1933, [when] the German President, Paul von Hindenburg, appointed Adolf Hitler chancellor, the head of the government. (Bachrach 16). In order to gain power and stay in power, the Nazi Party needed to win over the hearts and minds of the German people; in order to do this, Hitler and the Nazis promised [the] birth of a New Germany, giving hope to many Germans fearful of the future. (Bachrach 16). To accomplish their goal of giving birth to a New Germany, the policies of the Nazi government were aimed at restoring Germany s importance as a country, following its defeat in the First World War. Its methods, in addition to strong nationalist rhetoric and demonstrations, included targeting groups it claimed to be responsible for the economic ills of the country, principally Jews, who became the regime s preferred target of discrimination. (Pound 65). When other countries and groups heard about the discrimination and mistreatment of Jews and other ethnic groups being committed by this new Nazi Party, they started to question whether or not the Olympic Games should still be held in ... It includes different aspects of life for the women; it will also refer to how and why life changed during the war. In the early 20th century women s lives were a repeated routine, which unfortunately was the same every single day. Women were not allowed to work unless she desperately wanted a job. She would have to work extremely hard to become a nurse or a teacher but the pay was very low. The women could also work as servants and worked in the... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Women in the WAAC were thought to be of a lower class. They quickly gained a bad reputation for sexual misconduct with the troops in France. But the 21 reported pregnancies among the 6000 WAAC personal in France in 1918 suggest that these rumours were some what exaggerated. Not every job filled by a woman was a replacement for a man. In 1915 the army blamed its defeat on a lack of artillery shells. The result of this was a huge increase in the production of shells by private companies. New jobs were created in these munitions factories, and by the end of the war over 900,000 women had filled them. However, this was very dangerous work. Explosions could kill and maim the workers. The chemicals used in the explosives caused workers to vomit and eventually turned their skin yellow, giving these women the name Cannoves . Nevertheless, Munitions work was very well paid; therefore many working class women were willing to do this work. When the war ended men came back to claim their jobs which meant that many women had to give up their jobs. Unfortunately many other jobs disappeared. There were fewer jobs in domestic service. By 1921 the economic decline meant that the number of women in work was actually ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

We the people isn t talked about much today because when issues come about the government seems to want to please more of the people that have the problem with a so called Issue . I feel it has gotten to a point that we have went away from what we have built our country on. The 10 amendments were put into a place for a reason and as years have passed I feel that the government doesn t go back to those amendments when making any choices. America could not stand by and see other countries freedoms taken from them. The aim of Americas involvement in WWI was to preserve democracy. Why is that freedom not important today? Over the years America s freedoms have expanded but not for the good. People now think there personal preference comes before the majority of the people. When America established rules they were based on the Ten Commandments. Over the years it has seemed that America as a whole has went away from that. It also seems that if some people aren t happy about something its automatically in their favor rather than the majority and this leads to more problems and more issues among the American people. These freedoms have expanded to the point that the majority will lose the right to have a choice. One example is that some people had a problem with prayer in schools. So they went through the court system, followed all the rules and because of that one person prayer was taken out of all schools. While at first glance the two poems seem quite drastically different in their portrayal of Hell, but scholars have made arguments that influence from Dante shines through Milton s work as well as arguments refuting these claims. All of these arguments have their own merit and while there are instances where a Dantean influence can be seen throughout Paradise Lost, Milton s progression of evil and Satan are quite different from Dante. Dante s influence on Milton is noted by many scholars and is very apparent in several instances throughout Paradise Lost, however, Milton shows a progression of evil through his own vision of Satan and... Other scholars agree that there is some flicker of Dante through Paradise Lost but argue that, although there are instances where it seems clear of the influence, Milton and Dante s versions of Hell and Satan are quite different. • 9. Reflection About Fenimies Frenimies Throughout the years I have always stayed strong and true to myself and to my beliefs. When I was eleven years old, adventuring into sixth grade, I met a girl named Ashley who turned out to be my best friend. As the time went on, our friendship grew stronger and our families became more compact, eventually leading us to do everything together. This ranged from Sunday family dinners to even vacationing together. We were so close that despite the fact we looked nothing alike, and we were in fact utterly opposite physically, people always asked if we were sisters. However, as soon as junior year in high school came, things took a turn for the worst. The beginning of junior year started off with all things being ordinary. Ashley had her boyfriend who she had been dating for two years, and I had a boy who I was talking to so the four of us did went out on together weekly. Around Christmas time Ashley would make plans with me, along with our friend group. An hour before we would go out she would end up getting sick. I would tell her to feel better and call me if she needed anything and proceeded to go out with the others. This would lead to fights because she could not believe I would go without her, even though she would miraculously get sick every single Friday night an hour before our plans, similar to clockwork. Lunch is where all of our friends meet to talk about and make plans for the weekend, and I have been meeting with teachers to go over the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 10. Redesign The Rn Health Coach Position Reference1 In this presentation we are going to redesign the RN Health Coach position that was discussed in the attached paper. The health coach performs many functions such as manual chart reviews, auditing emergency room (ER) visits and hospital discharges for transitions of care, health coaching individuals with chronic diseases to help them effectively manage their illness, and identifying gaps in care that need to be closed. Today we will explore an avenue to reconstruct this position and potential changes to the reward system that is in place to increase productivity and job satisfaction. The health coach performs multiple activities that currently require the coach to manual pull data from the electronic medical record, EHR. With this redesigned approach the health coach would no longer complete chart reviews as the EHR that is currently used throughout the clinics have a patient manager section that includes all of the information that is being manual extracted for the chart reviews. Also, instead of the health coach manually pulling data, such as who has been in the ER five or more times in the past year, set up a report that will run automatically on a monthly basis for the coach to review. Finally, the health coach is currently pulling the data on hospital discharges manually on a daily basis. In this process the health coach opens all of the charts of the patients that were discharged the prior day to determine who the patients primary care provider (PCP) is and ... • 11. Medical Application For Medical Residency Program Throughout all of time there have been people known as doctors. In some places they have been known as shaman, witch doctor, healing man, or even cleric. The way they were trained was usually through apprenticeship with an older doctor when they were young. As the times and practices advanced and changed so did the learning of medicine. People went from apprenticeships to schools. Then the schools became more extensive and thorough. Now because of there being several different branches of medicine there are also several branches of schooling. And in order to become a doctor, surgeon, or a radiologist a person must go through the Medical Residency Program, otherwise known as the Match Program. Depending on which type of medicine a person wants to go in they have to choose a type of medical residency program, an example would be that if a person would want to work as a doctor they would have to go through the Internal Medicine Residency Program. Each residency program was created at different times. The reason for this fact is that some of these programs weren t need until a certain point because of changes in time, culture, people, and necessities. Point in case being the Emergency Medical Residency Program which was not created until 1961. This can be backed by what Brian J. Zink s writing at http://www.emra.org/resources/emra history/a brief history of emergency medicine residency training/. The history of Emergency Medicine residency training is interwoven with the ... According to the article Chimps And Bonobos , this most likely happened because of allopatric speciation which is the separation of a species through physical forces like mountains or rivers that isolate the two groups. The physical force that separated the two species was most likely Zaire River which is also called the Congo River in Sub Sahara Africa. About 2 million years ago there was a drought south of the river and drove the gorillas that were living the area north. According to Chimpanzee, an example of a homologous structure it shares with its descendants is its relatively large skull. As the animals became more evolved their skull shapes started to change to accommodate for a larger brain. This size difference is shown in Figure 2 because you can see the difference in the brain and skull size of the chimpanzees (bottom) and humans (top) (Chimpanzee). This is because Cranium size is determined by brain size and recent evidence by (Dumas, 2012) shows that this is likely determine by a protein domain called DUF1220. DUF1220 is a domain, a sub section of a gene, which is about 65 amino acids long and expressed mostly in neurons (DUF1220). Research (Dumas, 2012) shows that more copies present in the genome the larger the brain size is in that animal. Humans have 270 copies and the trend goes down from there with Chimps having 125, Gorillas 99 and marmosets 30 and mice just one (Dumas). This research shows the reasons hominids increased in brain size is because there was a mutation that increased the amount of DUF1220 in their lineage which led to gradually larger brain sizes. Since the Chimps split off (Figure 1) before this mutation their brains did not increase in size; hence the reason they are still similar to the common ancestor of both chimps and humans. According to Wang and Liao (n.d.), Cinderella complex is a psychological dependency syndrome in which women unconsciously depend on others (i.e., men) for their source of happiness and a sense of self worth. These women grew up believing that they need to be rescued by someone (i.e., prince charming) or an external force (i.e., magical powers) in order for a change in their lives. • 19. Reflection About Witchcraft About This Book Many of us move to Witchcraft from some type of Judeo Christian history. It was the Us vs. Them attitude that a lot of Christians have. Those Christians think that you are either with them, or you are just wrong. If what you are used to is less combative, you are acquainted with being part of the Flock . Everybody in that specific congregation believes the same identical thing. We are all individuals. No two people are exactly identically and the thought that we all must have the same identical beliefs is flawed. In Witchcraft, we know that because we each are unique. We all have unique life events. It s impossible for any two individuals to have the exact same values and beliefs. What may work for me, may not work for you. Because most of us come from that one size fits all tradition, we just instinctively presume that Witchcraft works the same and vice versa. That s why so many who are going into Witchcraft become frustrated when two books detail the same perception differently. After of years of studying, reading and practicing Wicca, I m still learning and reading. I still have all the books I ve every purchased or was given to me which I do go back to every now and then. In this topic men putting down women as frail and weak minded. In the early nineteenth century in the United States there are ideas of traditionalism that survive today. Traditionalism is the old belief that all men, notably the oldest should be the head of the household and that women should be homemakers. These ideas of women still being weak mentally have brought great opposition to the idea of a female president. Traditionalist opposition has women body shamed into the fixed standard of beauty being the skinny Caucasian blonde. People still look down on women in troubled relationships as being their fault. Henrik Ibsen s A Doll House puts into criticism the problems brought by traditionalism though the story between Torvald and Nora. Where Nora has to keep a secret how she saved her husband s life to save her marriage, because she fears a woman helping a man would shame him into leaving her. Charlotte Perkins Gilmans short tale The Yellow Wallpaper also criticizes traditionalism and argues the ideals of traditionalism encourage sexism and is damaging towards women. • 24. Factors Influencing Dynamic Control Of The Helicopter Pilots The helicopter pilots, in general, are required to be skillful in operations on both improved and unimproved surfaces. During normal or slope takeoffs and landings with some degree of bank angle or side drift with one skid or wheel on the ground causes the helicopter to roll. When the rollover happens, the lateral cyclic control response becomes more sluggish and less effective than for a hovering helicopter. Consequently, if a roll rate is permitted to develop, a critical bank angle may be reached where roll cannot be corrected, even with full lateral cyclic, and the helicopter will roll over onto its side. As the roll rate increases, the angle at which recovery is still possible is significantly reduced. The critical rollover angle is also reduced. So, the goal of this essay is to cover the factors influencing dynamic control such as solo flight, cross wind, tail rotorthrust etc. and understand the recognition of dynamic rollover, how to avoid it and steps required for recovery. In addition, the effects of critical rollover angle on dynamic rollover and factors influencing dynamic rollover are also discussed. Heathers showed what every single high school is like, full of clicks and each click is made up of different racial, gender and social classes. This is something that no one can deny, no matter where you hail from a small town to big city it s the same. You can walk into any high school and see the clicks that reside within the school. Unless you grew up in a utopia and if that is the case let me know so I can move.... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The top dogs are usually the bullies, may not always be violent but it will always be verbal. I m better than you, becomes their mantra, but saying it with a smile to make themselves feel better (many times the bullies themselves have issues). What is funny about how the adult world, at the time, views these teen movies as bad is a joke. How they (adults) don t want to realize that these(teens/children) are their creations. They made these monstrous teenagers and they get mad? Children s behaviors are reflections of their parents, do you think they learned to be mean on their own? NO. Think of it this way, if dad is mean and talks down to mom and treats her like she is nothing that behavior is normal to the child. In return child grows up (in this case a boy) and treats women like dad because, that s the way . Flip that to the other side and the child is a girl, now she believes it is normal for women to be treated like mom and finds men like dad, so the cycle ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 42. Black Masculinity And The Black Of A Black Boy s Life Throughout the matriculation of a black boy s life, there are many, (labeled natural, yet are culturally, socially and institutionally based) factors, that govern the holistic views and beliefs entailed to the child. From that moment on, challenging the social structures that these norms entail suggest a sense of sensitivity, homosexualityor weakness, ultimately emasculating the highly regarded social stigmas attached with being a man. Despite being indoctrinated into the minds of black boys from an early age, there are many long lasting effects of masculinity that are in turn reciprocated in the role of black fathers, husbands, brothers and friends. Black masculinity is the self deteriorating idealisms that attack the identity and social positions black men ascribe to. The identity of the black man is the most crucial element attacked by black masculinity. Stemming from a limited variety of acceptable self expression, black masculinity emphasizes the need for an overly tough outer appearance while internally suppressing emotions of fear and sadness. These notions are particularly vivid in mainstream hip hop culture. In Byron Hurt s Hip hop Beyond Beats and Rhymes, Hurt sits down with some of the industries most respected artist who attest that anything nonhood will dilute [their] toughness. • 43. Different Types Of Market Structures Market Structures A market is defined as an institution that brings together buyers (demanders) and sellers (suppliers) of a particular good or service. A Market structure is the relationship among the buyers and sellers of a market and how prices are determined through outside influences. There are four different types of market structures. Two on opposite extremes, and two comfortably in the middle. On one end is perfect competition, which acts as a starting point in price and output determination. Pure competition is when a large number of firms sell a standardized product, entry and exit is very easy, and an individual firm cannot control the price. On the other extreme end is Pure monopoly. A monopoly is characterized by an absence of competition, which will often allow one seller to control the market. A Pure monopoly is essentially the same thing, but also includes near impossible entry and no substitute goods. Two more common market structures are monopolistic competition and oligopoly. Monopolistic competition has a large number of sellers producing different products, while an oligopoly has only a few number of sellers producing similar products. All in all pure competition, pure monopoly, monopolistic competition, and oligopoly are all unique market structures with differing characteristics, but have one main goal, profit maximization. A pure competition market may be be rare in the real world, but it acts as a vital introduction into the topic of markets. To ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In fact, a couple of weeks ago, a famous music icon passed, and for a whole week all the media did was talk about the plastic surgery done to his face. These days people are having rhinoplasty, liposuction, tummy tucks, face lifts, and most commonly breast augmentation. Science is making it easier to change the appearance of ones self. This brings me to believe, cosmetic surgery is an epidemic that has affected the whole world. A while back on a popular morning show, the host was interviewing a guest star. Adults with big money have been the ones affected the most with these celebrity trends. However, teenager girls have been affected more than they should. Instead of a parent telling the teenager they look beautiful, no matter how many minor imperfections they have. Most parents are shockingly giving their teenagers liposuction as birthday presents. Instead of loosing weight in a healthy way with diet and exercise, these teens are going under anesthesia. Most teenagers after the surgery have scars left on their body, which never heal. In today s world, many people are confused about their gender. This has led numerous people to plastic surgery. A countless number of them feel the only way to truly be themselves is through getting a sex transformation. Even though many of them get the surgery on the down low, the effects from the surgery eventually come to light. On the Jerry Springer show, a number of episodes involved the audience guessing what the gender of the person was before they underwent surgery. It s sad to say, that the majority of the women on the show were originally men. The expenses of buying a whole new lifestyle, the emotional drainage they are likely to face, and the periods of physical pain in hormonal change all are factors they deal with after plastic surgery. Whether broadcasted through media or magazines plastic surgery interest everyone, I truly believe Hollywood is addicted to it. I believe that the media projects images ... Things that we would call beliefs are often thought of by other cultures as just the way things are matters of fact, not opinion. Religious belief systems in particular and other aspects of locals world view can be driving motivators for conflict; economics is not the only reason people fight. Power Systems In most cultures, any visible formal power structure will lie over a more fundamental, less formal, structure of influence. This underlying power system will often be based on patron client relations, in which patrons become influential by acquiring clients who owe them favors. Often, this takes a pyramid form as more powerful patrons acquire clients who have clients of their own. Interacting directly with this patron client power system can be more effective than trying to deal with people in overt formal positions of power. Kinship Kinship is usually much more of a cohesive social force in non Western societies. Kin group members internalize a corporate identity the family is viewed as an extension of the self. Often large, pyramid shaped kin groups usually descendants of one man (or, rarely, woman) and their dependents serve to organize political, military, economic, and religious activities. • 48. financial management problems 6301 1. There are two identical firms EQT Corp and DBT Corp except for their capital structure. For example none of the firms pay taxes, and EBIT is $22,000 per year for both firms. There is no growth for any of the firms. EQT is an all equity firm with 1,000 shares outstanding and expected return of 22%. Since there is no growth, EQT will pay out all earnings to shareholders as dividends. In contrast, DBT has $40,000 worth of debt outstanding with interest rate of 5%. There are 500 shares of equity outstanding for DBT Corp. After the interest expense, DBT will also pay out all the earnings to its shareholders. (a) What are the equity values of both EQT Corp and DBT Corp? And, what are both companies stock prices? (b) What is the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... What would be the total equity value if Upjohn were 100% equity finance? 1. (a) Since EQT is an all equity firm, its earnings are $22,000. Thus firm value is the equity value, which is the discounted future dividends, VEQT =EEQT =$22,000/22% =$100,000. Since there are 1,000 share outstanding, price of EQT is: PEQT = $100,000/1,000=$100 per share. DBT is a leveled company. Since DBT and EQT are exactly the same except for their capital structure. We can consider DBT as the leveled company of EQT. According to MMI, when there is no tax, the value of an all equity firm should be equal to the value of the leveled company. Therefore, we have VDBT =VEQT = $100,000. The total equity value of DBT should be EDBT = VDBT DDBT = $100,000 $40,000 = $60,000. Therefore, we have the stock price for DBT: PDBT = $60,000/500=$120 (b) The expected return on DBT: ($22,000 5%*$40,000)/$60,000=33.33%. Therefore DBT is riskier than EQT since EQT has fewer number of equityholders but bears the same total amount of risk. (c) John s total dividend payment from holding 200 shares of EQTT Corp is $4,400 (=22%*($100*200)). Since DBT is a leveled company, you need to unlevel yourself by selling some of your shares in DBT and deposit the proceeds at the risk free rate. Suppose you will need to sell x shares in DBT, i.e. to deposit ($120*x), your total income flow will be [$120*(212 x)*33.33%+$120*x*5%]. ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
