People are becoming bored with simply viewing content and now want to be creators themselves. The rise of smartphones has given everyone tools to create and share videos, photos, and other content. Younger generations are leaving traditional social networks and moving to platforms that offer creation tools. To engage this audience, platforms need to focus on giving people ways to create and share content rather than just viewing what others make.
