2. How digital online technologies are changing innovation with my generation. What is innovation to me? “In 2001 a lot happened in the world. There was the twin towers attack. I heard about that news on the T.V, fast forward about 10 years and the way we process and hear about news and events has changed dramatically. “ - Foursquare co-founder Dennis Crowley

3. These days i am more likely to first here about news from a tweet on twitter, a friend on facebook and then the many mobile apps for the news. 1. Osama Bin Laden's death.

4. I want to talk about the triforce . That is, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Facebook is for connecting with your real life friends – seeing what they are up too, photos , videos and events with people you know in real life is what it’s all about.

7. LinkedIn – It’s like having a permanent profile online. It’s for connecting to people you work with – it’s used for connecting to people you want to work with. How it’s used, very important.

8. What I Think: These three companies are the most prominent in the social media world; they have tapped in to what it is to be human. We want to be connected to different aspects of the world; we want to hang out with friends in the online world as well as we cannot always be in the same physical place. We want to know what people that we think are interesting are saying on a certain topic/subject. We want to join the debate and share with the world our thoughts. We want to do business with people we know. This is one of the oldest consistencies in business. We want to be armed with information about people before we deal with them. The key word here is WANT . The power in the social media world is wanting to do something. If your product/service is awesome and someone now wants to tell the world they can do this with new innumerable tools.

13. There is a small growing community, of AMAZING videos on Vimeo that are very innovative.

16. MOBILE Its ALIVE! (by that I mean it is growing) Mobile has had a massive effect on social networking and media.
