*To register for an account you should be 13 or older.
*You can set your privacy setting to your likings, either you can set it to only your friends can see your posts
or anyone on Facebook can see your posts
*If something that is posted on Facebook is offensive to you, you can report it and the Facebook employees
will review the post and ask the person who posted the item to take it off if they find it could be offensive.
*Can be used to post mini blogs about yourself, photos, videos, and other information you want to share
with your social media world.
*Mobile apps are free.
*Registered sex offenders can not join Facebook.
*Personally I use it to keep up with friends and family that I don’t get to see on a regular basis.

3. *Social bookmarking site
*Can be used to “pin” craft ideas, cooking ideas, outfits you like, learning activities, and all sorts
of things.
*To register for an account, you must be 13 years or older.
*Users choose who they do or do not want to follow.
*Sometimes pins take you to third party sites, which pinterest has no ties to whatsoever.
*Personally, I use pinterest to find new recipes and fun activities my daughter can do.

4. Instagram
*Media Sharing App.
*Must be 13 years of age to create an account.
*Photo and video editing / sharing app available for download on smartphone or tablet.
*Can set privacy so you manipulate who does or does not follow you.
*No nude/ inappropriate photos or videos allowed.
*Personally, I use to add filters to photos that I take with my camera to enhance the image.
