This document summarizes an intercultural communication interview with a Korean woman who immigrated to the United States in 1984. The interview covered her expectations coming to the US, a major conflict she faced, educational and parenting values, cultural importance, and potential return to Korea. Future research is proposed to explore how her relaxed parenting style differs from her cultural upbringing and may be influenced by American culture.
