INTEGRITY AT
THE
WORKPLACE
By John Obado
Integrity is the quality
of being honest and
having strong moral
principles; moral
uprightness.
A person who has
integrity lives in a
HONEST relationship
with co-workers,
customers, and
stakeholders.
-He does the right thing in a reliable
way
-He has a moral compass that doesn't
waver
-He has "wholeness" of character, just
as an integer is a "whole number" with
no fractions
-He has honesty, truthfulness and
accuracy in ALL his actions
-Integrity is a choice that one makes to
follow the right convictions, to do the
right things no matter what.
-You are said to have Integrity if you
are not bothered with:-
i)what others will say.
ii)what you will loose.
iii)or the pain of getting the right thing
done in the midst of opposition
Question?
Can a person have
Honesty without
integrity?
A person can have honesty
without integrity, but he or she
cannot have integrity without
honesty, because honesty is the
basis for maintaining moral
Principals that direct your
Conduct and Character.
