INTEGRITY
What is integrity? A state or condition of being whole, complete, unbroken, unimpaired, sound and in perfect condition. Integrity is all about consistency and honesty.
Integrity: A purely positive proposition Integrity has nothing to do with good versus bad Like law of gravity: No such thing as good gravity or bad gravity. Like integrity it just is.
Value Of Integrity An individual is whole and complete when their word is whole and complete, and their word is whole and complete when they honour their word.
Value of Integrity Cont… Most of us think it a virtue that is nice to have but not as something that is directly related to our performance. People usually fail to link their difficulty with the lack of integrity in them.
Two ways to honour our word: First: keep word and on time. Second: Accept it as soon as possible. One should inform
When we do this we are honoring our words despite having not kept it, and we maintain our integrity. Without Integrity, the workability of any object, system, person, group or even of any organization declines.
Costs of dealing with an object, person or entity that is out of integrity Think about a car with its component missing or malfunctioning, It can fail in traffic and create chaos. If we fail to reach for meeting in time, we disappoint our colleague.
In effect, the out of integrity of car has created a lack of integrity in our life.
Even it involve the relationship one has with oneself
Putting System Back in Order People should honour their word, If they do so they can keep others trust in them. We can regain trust rapidly even when we fail to keep our words but we accept it.
THANK YOU
