People with insomnia have these symptoms:
• Difficulty falling asleep.
• Often waking up at night during sleep.
• Having trouble going back to sleep.
• Waking up too early in the morning.
• Feeling tired upon waking.
• More thinking and imagine.
• Sleepiness during the day.
• Moodiness or Irritability.
5. TYPES OF INSOMNIA
PRIMARY INSOMNIA:
• Person is having sleep problems that are not
directly associated with any other health
condition or problem.
SECONDARY INSOMNIA:
• Person is having sleep problems because of
something else, such as a health condition
(like: asthma, depression, arthritis, cancer)

• Problems with concentration or memory.
• Poor performance at workplace, office and
school.
• Errors or occur accidents.
• Fatigue.
• Problems with attention.
• Lack of energy.

1. ACUTE INSOMNIA:
• Stress
• Illness
• Emotional or physical discomfort
• Environmental factor ( Noise, light, temperature)
• Some medications( colds, allergies, depression,
high blood pressure and asthma).
• Interferences in normal sleep schedule (Switching
from a day shift to night shift)

• Depression or anxiety.
• Chronic stress.
• Pain or discomfort at night.
9. HOW TO BEATING INSOMNIA
• Good sleep habits (sleep hygiene)
• Avoid caffeine (Coffee) late in the day.
• Get regular exercise and not to exercise close to
bedtime.
• Don’t eat heavy meal late in the day.
• Make your bedroom comfortable. (Air
conditioner, Fan, Neat and Tidy)
• Follow routine to help you relax before sleep
(read book, listen music or take bath).
• Hearing comfortable Music (If possible)

11. CONCLUSIONS
• As you know, accidents occur in Malaysia is
caused by the individual problem attitude and
behavior. The most likely is caused by the lack
of sleep and do not have much time to rest at
the night. If you care about yourself and want
to avoid any accidents now let take action to
prevent your insomnia or habit sleeplessness.
