2. INTRODUCTION:
• It's not enough to design functional, standard cars that
can perform all of the traditional automobile tasks
anymore. They have to be smart, comfortable, easy to
use, and just cool.
• That's why automakers and tech companies have been
designing innovative car features from holographic
dashboards to rotating chairs.
• These innovations can improve the driving
experience, whether its you or the car driving, and
highlight what we can expect to see in the near future.

3. 1. Google Driverless Cars

4. • A self-driving car is capable of sensing its
environment and navigating without human input.
• To accomplish this task, each vehicle is usually
outfitted with a GPS unit, an inertial navigation
system, and a range of sensors including laser
rangefinders, radar, and video.
• Google's self-driving cars have now logged 700,000
miles of awesome accident-free autonomous driving.

5. 2.Bus Powered by Human
Waste:

6. • Bio-Bus is the UK's first bus powered entirely
by human faeces and food waste.
• The waste plant in Avonmouth, Bristol, treats
75 million cubic metres of sewage waste, and
35,000 tonnes of food waste, every year.
• ENeco this week also became the first
company to start delivering gas generated
from human waste directly to 8,300 homes by
the national grid.

8. • Some systems sound an alarm to notify drivers that a
collision may be imminent to alert the driver and get
him or her ready to take evasive action.
• There are pre-crash brake systems, which apply
additional pressure to the car's brakes to assist the
driver in slowing the car down as fast as possible and
potentially reducing damage caused by an accident.
• Some systems also connect the PCS unit to a pre-
crash seat belt system, which can automatically tense
passengers' seat belts before a crash.

10. • Using cameras mounted on the front of the car Land
Rover is able to project that image of the road onto the
bonnet via the heads-up display, making the bonnet
appear invisible to the occupants of the car.
• The technology - dubbed Transparent Bonnet - means
that the driver can see more of the road and avoid any
obstacles in the road.
• The technology enables a driver climbing a steep
incline or manoeuvring in a confined space to see an
augmented reality view capturing not only the terrain
in front of the car but also the angle and position of
the front wheels.

12. • Vehicle-to-vehicle communication (V2V communication) is
the wireless transmission of data between motor vehicles.
• The goal of V2V communication is to prevent accidents by
allowing vehicles in transit to send position and speed data
to one another over an ad hoc mesh network.
• Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANETs) are created by
applying the principles of mobile ad
hoc networks (MANETs) - the spontaneous creation of a
wireless network for data exchange - to the domain of
vehicles[1]. They are a key component of intelligent
transportation systems (ITS).
