 Sterile Filling Process of vial for Parenteral Purposes.
 Consists of Several Machines and Assembly to
prepare the Filled and Capped Vial
 Depending Upon the fill volume, it can be
segregrated into 2 Sections:
>>Large Volume Parenteral Liquid Filling(50-500ml)
>>Small Volume Parenteral Liquid Filling(2-30ml)
Major Components:
1. Ultrasonic Vial Washing Machine
2. Sterilization Tunnel
3. Liquid Vial Filling and Stoppering Machine
4. Capping Machine
5. Visual Inspection Conveyor Table
6. Labelling Machine
Ultrasonic Vial Washing Machine
Process:
1. Ultrasonic Vibration to remove Dirt and
Particles which adhered to the body of the vial.
2. 3 Stage Recycled water and WFI water wash,
followed by
3. Sterile Compressed Air wash after each water
washing.
Feed into: Turn Table/Sterilization Tunnel
Sterilization & Depyrogenation Tunnel
Process:
1. Charging of vials from the Washing
Machine/Turn Table, feed into the tunnelconveyor
2. Preheating: Preheat the vials to withstand
temperature effectively in the heating zone
3. Heating and Sterilization: 340 Degree
Centigrade, Time Depending upon the Log
Reduction
4. Cooling: Cooling the Vials and Feed into Filling
Machine.

• Process:
• Vials fed into Filling Machine Directly for filling through a V belt conveyor
Drive.
• Using a Filling Peristaltic Pump, the Liquid charged in a Distributor
module and through this liquid go to nozzles and nozzles fills up the vial
• N2 Purging Method to Remove Oxygen(Before and After Filling)
• Vacuum before Stoppering for O2 sensative Product.
• Stoppering/Half Stoppering using Vacuum Suction Mechanism. Stoppers
Charged into Machine through a oscillating Hopper.
• Feed in to Turn Table/ Capping Machine
