Infrared radiations are electromagnetic waves with wavelengths ranging from 400 nm to 400,000 nm, classified into different types based on their wavelength. They can be generated from various sources such as the sun, heated bodies, and electrical heaters, and penetrate the skin to varying depths. These radiations are used for enhancing metabolic rates, pain relief, muscle relaxation, and improving blood supply and joint mobility.
