(Part A)
My topic of interest is Netflix. In this assignment I am comparing the influencer marketing and
brand community with some facts and figures and trying to find out which is the best strategy for
a brand to make the brand community effective and in a better manner.
Influencer Marketing
According to Bar&Bench tweet in India YouTube has 44.8 crore and on Facebook 41 crore
users. For influencer marketing I like to choose the influencers on Facebook and YouTube
social media platforms Because high number of active users and high awareness.
Influencers on Facebook:
Cinemagotrailers: I have chosen the page for influencer marketing i.e. cinemagotrailers. I have
chosen it because it has more than 56 thousand followers and all the followers have
movies/web series lovers.

Some analytics about the page:
I have also talked about the prices for promotion activities on his page. He charged 120 US
dollars for promotion of the web series.

YouTube Influencers:
For YouTube influencers i have chosen the influencer i.e., thehuntvideo. This channel has
more than 200k subscribers and regularly posts the video on reviews of movies. So, i have
choose this channel for influencer marketing

Daily views on videos:
The average view on videos is 22,500 and weekly average views is 158,000.
I have also contacted them and tell about the charges but he hasn't reply till.

Keyword research influencers
With using the keyword tool noxinfluener.com, I have tried to find out the influencers with the
help of keyword “web series”.
I have chosen the web series explainer as a influencer because of it has 215 k subscribers
and 203 videos posted till now. Apart from that estimated views on video is 27.54k and
engagement rate is 15.14% that is good.
In my opinion if the page has engagement rate more than 15% that page has organic
views and good for the influencer marketing.
And 2nd
will choose that will be Tic Tac web serie that has 100k subscribers and till now 96
videos posted and estimated views on video is 22.39k subscribers and engagement rate is
11.29% that is also good.

Not chosen Influencers
Ist influencer that I haven’t choose that will be “web series”. It has 381k subscribers and average
views on videos is 8.35k and the engagement rate is 0.86%. there are various reasons that I
haven’t choose them as a influencer of my brand community that is they have highest no. of
subscribers but the engagement rate is 0.86% that seems their views on video is inorganically
and they may have also buy the subscribers,when webuy the subscribers orchosenthe inorganic
way to increase the subscribers that haven’t the targeted audience that we have want for our
brand promotion that’s why we have not choose that as a influencer.

influencer that I will not chose be web series Mazza because it has a smaller number of
subscribers i.e., 18.2k and average views on their videos is 1.14k. if they charge cost less than
may be I have chosen (cost per views) unless I haven’t chosen them.
(Part B)
Comparison between Brand community and Influencer Marketing
I am unable to find out the statistics of the Brand community with the help of a tool because the
tool only helps in finding out the statistics of pages not the groups. Brand community is the
group of any brand not the page.
What have I chosen for marketing?
As a brand manager at an earlier stage of a brand when no one knows about my brand or not
too popular when I chose the Influencer marketing for my brand because people are not aware
of my brand, and they haven’t joined my Brand community until they get aware about the brand.
But after attaining some market share definitely go for the brand community for marketing
advertising because it is cheaper than the influencer marketing. It is the platform where i get the
valuable feedback from our loyal customers, what they aspect from the brand and what are we
delivering to the customers.

Netflix Brand Community vs Influencer Marketing

  • 1. 1 Name- Raghuvar (pgma2036) OBRM Assignment A2 Individual Assignment A2 (Part A) My topic of interest is Netflix. In this assignment I am comparing the influencer marketing and brand community with some facts and figures and trying to find out which is the best strategy for a brand to make the brand community effective and in a better manner. Influencer Marketing According to Bar&Bench tweet in India YouTube has 44.8 crore and on Facebook 41 crore users. For influencer marketing I like to choose the influencers on Facebook and YouTube social media platforms Because high number of active users and high awareness. Influencers on Facebook: Cinemagotrailers: I have chosen the page for influencer marketing i.e. cinemagotrailers. I have chosen it because it has more than 56 thousand followers and all the followers have movies/web series lovers.
  • 2. 2 Some analytics about the page: I have also talked about the prices for promotion activities on his page. He charged 120 US dollars for promotion of the web series.
  • 3. 3 YouTube Influencers: For YouTube influencers i have chosen the influencer i.e., thehuntvideo. This channel has more than 200k subscribers and regularly posts the video on reviews of movies. So, i have choose this channel for influencer marketing Some analytics about channel: Data Source Social Blade
  • 4. 4 Daily views on videos: The average view on videos is 22,500 and weekly average views is 158,000. I have also contacted them and tell about the charges but he hasn't reply till.
  • 5. 5 Keyword research influencers With using the keyword tool noxinfluener.com, I have tried to find out the influencers with the help of keyword “web series”. I have chosen the web series explainer as a influencer because of it has 215 k subscribers and 203 videos posted till now. Apart from that estimated views on video is 27.54k and engagement rate is 15.14% that is good. In my opinion if the page has engagement rate more than 15% that page has organic views and good for the influencer marketing. And 2nd will choose that will be Tic Tac web serie that has 100k subscribers and till now 96 videos posted and estimated views on video is 22.39k subscribers and engagement rate is 11.29% that is also good.
  • 6. 6 Not chosen Influencers Ist influencer that I haven’t choose that will be “web series”. It has 381k subscribers and average views on videos is 8.35k and the engagement rate is 0.86%. there are various reasons that I haven’t choose them as a influencer of my brand community that is they have highest no. of subscribers but the engagement rate is 0.86% that seems their views on video is inorganically and they may have also buy the subscribers,when webuy the subscribers orchosenthe inorganic way to increase the subscribers that haven’t the targeted audience that we have want for our brand promotion that’s why we have not choose that as a influencer. 2nd influencer that I will not chose be web series Mazza because it has a smaller number of subscribers i.e., 18.2k and average views on their videos is 1.14k. if they charge cost less than may be I have chosen (cost per views) unless I haven’t chosen them. (Part B) Comparison between Brand community and Influencer Marketing I am unable to find out the statistics of the Brand community with the help of a tool because the tool only helps in finding out the statistics of pages not the groups. Brand community is the group of any brand not the page. What have I chosen for marketing? As a brand manager at an earlier stage of a brand when no one knows about my brand or not too popular when I chose the Influencer marketing for my brand because people are not aware of my brand, and they haven’t joined my Brand community until they get aware about the brand. But after attaining some market share definitely go for the brand community for marketing advertising because it is cheaper than the influencer marketing. It is the platform where i get the valuable feedback from our loyal customers, what they aspect from the brand and what are we delivering to the customers.
