5. Tetanus 70% of newborn babies who get tetanus will die.

6. Polio John Prestwich , paralysed from the chin down, is 64 -he has not taken a breath for himself since he was struck down with polio at the age of 17. He is kept alive by a machine that breaths for him.

7. Cervical Cancer Cervical cancer is sexually transmitted. The more partners a woman has the greater her risk. The type of micro-organism that causes cervical cancer in women can also cause cancer of the penis in men.
