reconstruction of Nalanda university

Japan to patrol the Indian Ocean region.
4. SINO-INDIAN ISSUES –
China’s growing influence in South Asia has been an important concern for
India. The Dalai Lama’s residency in India, the Sino-Indian war of
1962,China’s string of pearls in the Indian Ocean, Territorial disputes of Aksai
Chin and Arunachal Pradesh, the recent Doklam issue of Bhutan, China’s
affinity towards Pakistan, . The China-Pakistan economic corridor(CPEC)
,non-support to India’s entry into the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) and the
permanent seats of the UN Security Council etc. are some issues which have
stressed the Sino-Indian relations.
SINO-JAPAN ISSUES-
Both China and Japan’s struggle for regional dominance, their territorial
disputes regarding Senkaku islands and China’s support to North Korea over
its missile experiments have further increased the tensions in Sino-Japan ties.
INDO-JAPAN TIES : AS AN ‘INFORMAL-ALLIANCE’ AGAINST CHINA-
Thus, we can say that Japan and India are "getting closer" because both have
a convergent focus, as to security from China's rise. Thus, Indian and
Japanese responses and their ties in economic, military, technological,
cultural, political spheres have been in the direction of finding a common
ground against their common perceived threat, i.e., China.
