(Engaging Cities: the Growing Relevance of Soft Power to City Reputations in Asia Pacific)’ 보고서를 2014년 12월 11일 아▪태지역 8개 국가에서 동시에 발표하였습니다.
(Identity)
(Neighbourhoods)
(Citizen Advocacy)

Creative Youth Development (CYD) intentionally integrates learning in the arts, humanities, and sciences with youth development principles. In CYD programs, young people create work and apply their creative skills to solve problems, shape their lives and build the world in which they want to live. The 2014 National Summit for CYD generated new focus and energy in CYD, catalyzing collective action (e.g., CYD National Partnership, Alliance for Creative Youth Development). In this webinar, we explore what it means to create and sustain programs for youth through this framework through case study examples, discussion, and student work. Featuring youth and adult leaders from Creative Action and Say Sí. Moderated by Denise Montgomery, director of the National CYD Initiative.
The sector of Destination Marketing has undergone several identity crises, resulting in name changes. Thus, the “Destination Marketing Organisation” (DMO) is becoming “Destination Development, Management and Marketing Organisation” (DDMMO). Of course we do not want to come up with another acronym but this is a way of describing the changes occurring in both Tourism Industry and Meetings Industry. DMOs require a much fuller and deeper coalition of destination partnerships to maintain the visibility of their destination as a great place to live, work, study and visit. With this holistic approach, there is for sure room for DMOs to engage not only towards leisure travellers but also with meetings, incentives conferences and events industry in a targeted way that meets the wider policy objectives of their city.

Bali is a unique and special place because of many things, especially it's culture, it's
nature, it's people's friendliness, its sacredness, and many else. These elements
contribute to Bali rapid economic blooming under the witness of the world. However,
the tourism industry is not managed very well and wisely. There exist unregulated
growth of hospitality facilities and transfer of lands that caused many issues such as
water crisis , plastic trash, culture degradation, flood, etc. As global shaper
Denpasar hub, it comes to our responsibility to support Bali, our local community, to
address those issues by giving solution. And we can see that opportunity through
the event held by Future City Summit as "Bali Beyond Tourism". Thru that event we
got valuable ideas to be implemented in Bali as well as we found out potential
sustainable collaboration with FCS for Bali Islands.
