This study focuses on optimizing cutting parameters (feed rate and spindle speed) for turning operations on en8 and en24 steel using a cemented carbide coated tool, aiming to achieve high surface quality and efficient material removal rates. The Taguchi method and ANOVA were employed to determine the influence of these parameters on surface roughness, with cutting speed being the most significant factor affecting surface finish. The findings provide essential insights for further research on machining efficiency and the impact of tool vibrations and cutting forces.
