From Business to Buttons by Pierre HarléIdean France
What we've learned after going to the "From Business to Buttons" conference in Stockholm on April 27, 2017 :
- Story first : create products that engage ( Donna Lichaw)
- When UX goes offline ( Katie Dill, Director of Experience Design at Airbnb)
- Evolving design systems for flexibility and scale ( Dawn Ressel, Design strategist at Intuit Design System)
- Engaging with compassion ( Eric Meyer, Web legend and author of "Design for Real Life")
- How to fight fascism (Mike Monteiro, Co-founder and Design Director at Mule Design)
The history of digital gaming has been widely celebrated from all generation. Although video games would not reach mainstream pop-culture in mid 1970’s as arcade games, video game consoles or even computer games to the general public, the mobile gaming started way later in the year 1994.
The worst headache and apprehension of parents and society is caused by excessive virtualization of games and all the occupations of today’s kids and teens. That leads to loss of reality… We at Toytemic believe games should be brought back from behind the screen into here: the real world of tangible things.
Toytemic’s project “Strategy on Carpet” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPwQIjAsTPI
has won first prize at Skolkovo Innovation Award competition supported by Cisco I-PRIZE. “Strategy on Carpet” technology transfers computer game fantasy into reality. Real toys are being turned into game units, and played and controlled in the same manner as units in computer games.
It's Gonna Be The Future Soon: Science Fiction, Video Games, and the Future ...Lucas Gillispie
What if science fiction were a reality? What if the way we interact in games were the way we interacted in real life? Soon, these things will be a reality and they'll impact learning! It's going to be exciting!

We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.
Operation “Blue Star” is the only event in the history of Independent India where the state went into war with its own people. Even after about 40 years it is not clear if it was culmination of states anger over people of the region, a political game of power or start of dictatorial chapter in the democratic setup.
The people of Punjab felt alienated from main stream due to denial of their just demands during a long democratic struggle since independence. As it happen all over the word, it led to militant struggle with great loss of lives of military, police and civilian personnel. Killing of Indira Gandhi and massacre of innocent Sikhs in Delhi and other India cities was also associated with this movement.

10. 5. Disney AppMATes – Cars 2 Toys for the ipad Well here comes the next toy revolution from Disney, it’s called AppMATes; physical toys that interact with iPad apps and games. First up, is Cars 2 from Disney/Pixar, with the toy packs and app available from October 1st, at $20 for the first 2x toys while the app is free! The idea is that toys trigger various levels, effects, sounds, narration and experiences based what car is actually placed on the iPad. It works by special sensors (patent pending of course!) that are placed on the bottom of the cars and when pressed down on the iPad surface, the individual cars are recognised by the app accordingly, turning the iPad into a virtual play mat for kids.
