The Government of Maharashtra has implemented an Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) to automate payroll, pension processing, and other financial modules. Key features of IFMS include centralized generation of payroll and pension bills for over 6 lakh government employees and pensioners. Major modules under IFMS include Sevaarth for payroll, the Defined Contribution Pension Scheme, pension processing, GPF for Class IV employees, and loans/advances. IFMS aims to standardize processes, eliminate manual records, and integrate financial management across departments in Maharashtra.

Learn best practices for deploying Magento on AWS using services such as Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS), and Amazon Simple Storage System (Amazon S3).
The pathway to the cloud has many different options and levers that customers can pull. This webinar walks customers through actual steps from creating a cloud adoption vision to actually building a migration roadmap with actionable guidance. We’ll go through proven migration patterns, methods and tooling that AWS has leveraged successfully with hundreds of Enterprise customers around the globe. Learn what challenges customers face when planning the migrations to cloud, and how they overcome them to minimize risk and accelerate the adoption.
Migrating Databases to the Cloud: Introduction to AWS DMS - SRV215 - Chicago ...Amazon Web Services
In this introductory session, we cover how to convert and migrate your relational databases, non-relational databases, and data warehouses to the cloud. AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS) and AWS Schema Conversion Tool (AWS SCT) have been used to migrate tens of thousands of databases across the world. This includes homogeneous migrations, such as PostgreSQL to PostgreSQL, and heterogeneous migrations between different database engines, such as Oracle or SQL Server to Amazon Aurora, Amazon DynamoDB, and Amazon Redshift. Learn how to quickly and securely migrate your data and procedural code, enjoy flexibility and cost savings, and minimize the downtime of your applications.
Building occasionally connected applications using event sourcingDennis Doomen
I've recently got the opportunity to work on a large enterprise-class system that needs to be deployed on multiple occasionally connected oil platforms and boats. Already the system's architecture was based on the Command Query Separation principles, this gave us a completely new challenge. After several months of looking at alternatives, we decided to go the Event Sourcing direction. In this in-depth session, I'd like you to learn the many alternatives we observed, the pros and cons, and the technical details of our final solution in which we use EventStore 3.0 and elements of NCQRS and Lokad.CQRS to synchronize systems over unreliable connections in a very efficient way.
Learn about the new AWS Database Migration Service, which helps you migrate databases with minimal downtime from on-premises and Amazon EC2 environments to Amazon RDS, Amazon Redshift, Amazon Aurora and EC2 databases. We discuss homogeneous (e.g. Oracle-to-Oracle, PostgreSQL-to-PostgreSQL, etc.) and heterogeneous (e.g. Oracle to Aurora, SQL Server to MariaDB) database migrations. We also talk about the new AWS Schema Conversion Tool that saves you development time when migrating your Oracle and SQL Server database schemas, including PL/SQL and T-SQL procedural code, to their MySQL, MariaDB and Aurora equivalents.
Fargate is a compute engine for Amazon Elastic Container Service (Amazon ECS). In this session, we demonstrate how by using it, you no longer need to provision, configure, and scale clusters of virtual machines to run containers, removing the need to choose server types, decide when to scale your clusters, or optimize cluster packing. By eliminating the need to manage servers or clusters, this makes it possible for you to focus on designing and building your applications instead of managing the infrastructure that runs them.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).
Speakers:
Bob Boule
Robert Boule is a technology enthusiast with PASSION for technology and making things work along with a knack for helping others understand how things work. He comes with around 20 years of solution engineering experience in application security, software continuous delivery, and SaaS platforms. He is known for his dynamic presentations in CI/CD and application security integrated in software delivery lifecycle.
