modifications of the already existing species. The change in single nucleotide results in point
mutation, which is of different types such as silent mutations, missense mutations, nonsense

All mutations are not harmful. Mutations can either be good or neutral also. If the mutations
resulted in a new functional protein, which would be advantageous for the organism, they are
considered as good mutations. Mutation is the basic mechanism of evolution.
1). Chromosomal rearrangements or translocations involve the rearrangement of nonhomologous
chromosomal regions. This may result in viable or nonviable organisms.
For example, robertsonian translocation (ROB) is a type of chromosomal rearrangement (one
arm of chromosome goes to another chromosome and vice versa), which is observed in the five
chromosomal pairs of humans namely chromosome 13, 14, 15 21 and 22. These translocations
result in viable fetus.

Gene duplication involved in the formation of autopolyploids and meiotic errors. Gene
duplication is often followed by divergent evolution. Eg: Duplication of single chromosomes

plastid by A.F. W Schimper in 1883. By the end of 19th century chloroplast name was accepted
in scientfic community worldwide to the cell- organelle which is green color found in plant

He suggest that origin of green pant was possibly by symbiotic relationship between chlorophyll
containing and colorless organism. Another important observation was made by A. meyer in

Published classroom materials form the basis of syllabuses, drive teacher professional development, and have a potentially huge influence on learners, teachers and education systems. All teachers also create their own materials, whether a few sentences on a blackboard, a highly-structured fully-realised online course, or anything in between. Despite this, the knowledge and skills needed to create effective language learning materials are rarely part of teacher training, and are mostly learnt by trial and error.
Knowledge and skills frameworks, generally called competency frameworks, for ELT teachers, trainers and managers have existed for a few years now. However, until I created one for my MA dissertation, there wasn’t one drawing together what we need to know and do to be able to effectively produce language learning materials.
This webinar will introduce you to my framework, highlighting the key competencies I identified from my research. It will also show how anybody involved in language teaching (any language, not just English!), teacher training, managing schools or developing language learning materials can benefit from using the framework.

Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. - 1. identify the developmental genes that influence macroevolution Solution Developmental genes are the regulatory genes that regulate hundreds of genes of development and even a small genetic change in these genes leads to major structural changes in the organisms. These are the genes that distinguish one species from other species. These genes regulate the shape, pattern and type and location of organs of animal body. For ex: Hox genes serve to regulate the formation of particular regions of the body by encoding the related transcription factors and thereby regulate the fate of regions of body. Homeotic genes determine the future development of segments on the basis of the pattern of expression of the segmentation genes before them. Mutation in these genes leds to development of that segment to an adjacent segment, usually anterior to it. These genes are also called memory genes as they regulate developmental fate of a segment which is followed from one cell division to the next.
