Business Situation The G3C provides contextual information, referred to as Visual Meta Data or simply as Meta Data, pertaining to images, videos, and video frames using Graymatics’ AdVisualyzer (ad-optimized image/video analysis platform). Our processing model supports both on-demand/on line and batch/off-line mode. The previous system had a preliminary architecture which supported computer cluster scalability and a basic level of fault tolerance. This basic level of fault-tolerance was not sufficient for providing a highlevel of Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the customers. Many implementation level optimizations should be made to reduce the latencies in the workflow which are crucial for the customer response performance.The current implementations did not support the video analysis very well and that needed to be taken care of in the new architecture.

This survey propose a Novel Joint Data-Hiding and Compression Scheme (JDHC) for digital images using side match vector quantization (SMVQ) and image in painting. In this JDHC scheme image compression and data hiding scheme are combined into a single module. On the client side, the data should be hided and compressed in sub codebook such that remaining block except left and top most of the image. The data hiding and compression scheme follows raster scanning order i.e. block by block on row basis. Vector Quantization used with SMVQ and Image In painting for complex block to control distortion and error injection. The receiver side process is based on two methods. First method divide the received image into series of blocks the receiver achieve hided data and original image according to the index value in the segmented block. Second method use edge based harmonic in painting is used to get original image if any loss in the image.

When you allow users to upload images to your website or app, what are the accompanying features you should have? Usually, this includes the ability to create previews (or thumbnails) of different sizes, add watermarks, crop to a specific aspect ratio, and so on. The “classic” kind of way to do this is with an “in-house” approach. You plug in some libraries to process images (and install `imagemagick` or `libvips` to your servers or Docker images), and then create an entire pipeline to do the actual processing: configs, storage, background jobs. This is some complex machinery, but do we really need it? Instead, enter the amazing world of image processing services that will change your life forever. 🦄 🌈 ✨ After making the switch, you'll never want to return to the “manual” way of handling thumbnails. Your applications will become more simple and reliable, UX will improve, and your hair will finally become soft and silky smooth. The field of Information retrieval (IR) is currently undergoing a transformative shift, at least partly due to the emerging applications of generative AI to information access. In this talk, we will deliberate on the sociotechnical implications of generative AI for information access. We will argue that there is both a critical necessity and an exciting opportunity for the IR community to re-center our research agendas on societal needs while dismantling the artificial separation between the work on fairness, accountability, transparency, and ethics in IR and the rest of IR research. Instead of adopting a reactionary strategy of trying to mitigate potential social harms from emerging technologies, the community should aim to proactively set the research agenda for the kinds of systems we should build inspired by diverse explicitly stated sociotechnical imaginaries. The sociotechnical imaginaries that underpin the design and development of information access technologies needs to be explicitly articulated, and we need to develop theories of change in context of these diverse perspectives. Our guiding future imaginaries must be informed by other academic fields, such as democratic theory and critical theory, and should be co-developed with social science scholars, legal scholars, civil rights and social justice activists, and artists, among others.
