Deaths From Drunk Driving
When driving down the road two ambulance s fly by with sirens screaming, on down the road
the ambulance s stop along with three fire truck s on the side of the road surrounded by many
police officers, passing by there is a car flipped upside down with another car head on into a tree
and white drapes over top of bodies on the road, through the window there is a man there blowing
into a breathalyzer, the number comes up as .16% this man is drunk and also the the driver of the
car that s flipped. Drunk driving is the cause of this, being under the influence messes up the train
of thought of the brain and messes with eye vision and reaction time. People are going crazy
driving drunk around the world, nobody is good at drinking and driving and never will be.
Drunk Driving is a serious problem in the United States and even all around the world, this needs
to come to a stop because innocent people are losing their lives from idiots driving while under
the influence. Drinking and Driving is when someone decides to get behind the wheel of a car
after drinking too many alcoholic beverages and trying to drive home. This is a serious problem,
drinking causes the brain to lose train of thought and lower reaction time of a human which is well
needed while driving an automobile especially during the night when visibility is low. Each day
people driving drunk almost 300,000 times but fewer than 4,000 are

Summary Of The Book One Flew Over The Cuckoo s
n August 6, 1945, America destroyed the city of Hiroshima with a massive bomb. The bomb
kills nearly 100,000 people and injures 100,000 more. The book traces the lives of six survivors
(Reverend Mr. Kiyoshi Tanimoto, Father Wilhelm Kleinsorge, Toshiko Sasak, Dr. Masakazu
Fujii, Dr. Terufumi Sasaki, Mrs. Hatsuyo Nakamura, )from the when the bomb drops and then a
few months after. In 1985, the Author added a fifth chapter, In it He revisits these six people s
lives forty years after the bomb. In conclusion Hersey finds that the effects of nuclear war never
faded away. The citizens of Hiroshimastill suffered years after, and nuclear war continues to
threaten the entire world.
The main theme of the book to me is the overcoming of such a large devastation in every one of
those people s lives and as a community. In Chapter Four, One feeling they did seem to share,

Hatsuyo Nakamura means you are Bright and bold as well as quick tempered,Extremely
confident, such tendencies coupled with a determination to succeed, lead them to constantly seek
bigger, better and more and are die hard feminists. I don t think this meaning really suits Mrs.
Hatsuyo, she is a very strong independent woman who did get herself and kids through a big

Dr. Terufumi Sasaki means you are quick minded, versatile,very expressive, adaptable and
creative in responding to new situations. You have a lack of stability in your affairs as it inclines
you to procrastinate. Dr.Terufumi was a surgeon so he does share some of the attributes like
quick minded and adaptable because he had a new situation to perform on every time he did an

The Origin Of English Language Codification
The linguistic term codification refers to the process of standardizing and developing a norm of a
language (Revolvy, 2017). In addition, it means the methods of creation and use of the dictionary
through designing writing system and setting grammar rules. According to Einar Haugen
codification leads to minimal variation in form (Stein Tieken Boon van Ostade, n.d. 1994: p160),
therefore it reinforces a certain variety which has been selected and accepted. Even though
codification is the second stage in the standardization, it is ongoing process.
The origin of English language codification was back to the 16th century, when many of
dictionaries and grammar books had published with a view of teaching the language to Welsh
noblemen after the Act of Union between Wales and England in 1536. These dictionaries contained
a list of hard words, mostly loanwords which adopted and borrowed from other languages, or
sometimes invented. Robert Cawdery produced the first English dictionary in (1604). It lists about
3000 words, with a brief simple description for each. He aimed to codify a language, to let readers

In the tale Tereus, Procne, and Philomela , Tereus betrays Procne by raping and then mutilating
the tongue of her sister, Philomela, causing Procne to seek revenge from Tereus. Although her
method of revenge consists of killing her son Itys and feeding his flesh to Tereus, the sisters reach
their end when Philomela becomes a swallow and Procne becomes a nightingale. Sacrificing Itys
was not an easy task for Procne as her excess of maternal love (216) in which, Ovid intentionally
