This document describes a solar energy project to install photovoltaic systems on the rooftops of 6 public schools in rural India. The 19 kW project will provide reliable power to over 1400 students across the 6 schools. It will be implemented in cooperation with local stakeholders like school officials and government agencies. The project aims to inspire villages through demonstrating renewable energy and its benefits. Implementation is planned from March to October with data collection, planning, construction, and an official launch. Funding of approximately 150,000 Euro is required and will be sought from government subsidies.
