HUMAN MOTION DETECTION AND TRACKING FOR VIDEO SURVEILLANCEAswinraj Manickam
An approach to detect and track groups of people in video-surveillance applications, and to automatically recognize their behavior.
This method keeps track of individuals moving together by maintaining a spacial and temporal group coherence.
First, people are individually detected and tracked. Second, their trajectories are analyzed over a temporal window and clustered using the Mean-Shift algorithm.
A coherence value describes how well a set of people can be described as a group. Furthermore, we propose a formal event description language.
The group events recognition approach is successfully validated on 4 camera views from 3 data sets: an airport, a subway, a shopping center corridor and an entrance hall.

Detection and Tracking of Moving Object: A SurveyIJERA Editor
Object tracking is the process of locating moving object or multiple objects in sequence of frames. Object
tracking is basically a challenging problem. Difficulties in tracking of an object may arise due to abrupt changes
in environment, motion of object, noise etc. To overcome such problems different tracking algorithms have been
proposed. This paper presents various techniques related to object detection and tracking..The goal of this paper
is to present a survey of these techniques.
Overview Of Video Object Tracking SystemEditor IJMTER
The goal of video object tracking system is segmenting a region of interest from a video
scene and keeping track of its motion, positioning and occlusion. There are the three steps of video
object tracking system those are object detection, object classification and object tracking. Object
detection is performed to check existence of objects in video. Then the detected object can be
classified in various categories on the basis on their shape, motion, color and texture. Object tracking
is performed using monitoring object changes. This paper we are going to take overview of different
object detection, object classification and object tracking techniques and also the comparison of
different techniques used for various stages of tracking.

Occlusion and Abandoned Object Detection for Surveillance ApplicationsEditor IJCATR
Object detection is an important step in any video analysis. Difficulties of the object detection are finding hidden objects
and finding unrecognized objects. Although many algorithms have been developed to avoid them as outliers, occlusion boundaries
could potentially provide useful information about the scene’s structure and composition. A novel framework for blob based occluded
object detection is proposed. A technique that can be used to detect occlusion is presented. It detects and tracks the occluded objects in
video sequences captured by a fixed camera in crowded environment with occlusions. Initially the background subtraction is modeled
by a Mixture of Gaussians technique (MOG). Pedestrians are detected using the pedestrian detector by computing the Histogram of
Oriented Gradients descriptors (HOG), using a linear Support Vector Machine (SVM) as the classifier. In this work, a recognition and
tracking system is built to detect the abandoned objects in the public transportation area such as train stations, airports etc. Several
experiments were conducted to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The results show the robustness and
effectiveness of the proposed method.

Java Implementation based Heterogeneous Video Sequence Automated Surveillance...CSCJournals
Automated video based surveillance monitoring is an essential and computationally challenging task to resolve issues in the secure access localities. This paper deals with some of the issues which are encountered in the integration surveillance monitoring in the real-life circumstances. We have employed video frames which are extorted from heterogeneous video formats. Each video frame is chosen to identify the anomalous events which are occurred in the sequence of time-driven process. Background subtraction is essentially required based on the optimal threshold and reference frame. Rest of the frames are ablated from reference image, hence all the foreground images paradigms are obtained. The co-ordinate existing in the deducted images is found by scanning the images horizontally until the occurrence of first black pixel. Obtained coordinate is twinned with existing co-ordinates in the primary images. The twinned co-ordinate in the primary image is considered as an active-region-of-interest. At the end, the starred images are converted to temporal video that scrutinizes the moving silhouettes of human behaviors in a static background. The proposed model is implemented in Java. Results and performance analysis are carried out in the real-life environments.
The complete human body or the various limb postures are involved in human action. These days,
Abnormal Human Activity Recognition (Abnormal HAR) is highly well noticed and surveyed in many
studies. However, because of complicated difficulties such as sensor movement, positioning, and so on,
as well as how individuals carry out their activities, it continues to be a difficult process. Identifying
particular activities benefits human-centric applications such as postoperative trauma recovery, gesture
detection, exercise, fitness, and home care help. The HAR system has the ability to automate or
simplify most of the people’s everyday chores. HAR systems often use supervised or unsupervised
learning as their foundation. Unsupervised systems operate according to a set of rules, whereas
supervised systems need to be trained beforehand using specific datasets. This study conducts detailed
literature reviews on the development of various activity identification techniques currently being used.
The three methods—wearable device-based, pose-based, and smartphone sensor—are examined in this
inquiry for identifying abnormal acts (AAD). The sensors in wearable devices collect data, whereas the
gyroscopes and accelerometers in smartphones provide input to the sensors in wearable devices. To
categorize activities, pose estimation uses a neural network. The Anomalous Action Detection Dataset
(Ano-AAD) is created and improved using several methods. The study examines fresh datasets and
innovative models, including UCF-Crime. A new pattern in anomalous HAR systems has emerged,
linking anomalous HAR tasks to computer vision applications including security, video surveillance,
and home monitoring. In terms of issues and potential solutions, the survey looks at visionbased HAR.
A Framework for Human Action Detection via Extraction of Multimodal FeaturesCSCJournals
This work discusses the application of an Artificial Intelligence technique called data extraction and a process-based ontology in constructing experimental qualitative models for video retrieval and detection. We present a framework architecture that uses multimodality features as the knowledge representation scheme to model the behaviors of a number of human actions in the video scenes. The main focus of this paper placed on the design of two main components (model classifier and inference engine) for a tool abbreviated as VASD (Video Action Scene Detector) for retrieving and detecting human actions from video scenes. The discussion starts by presenting the workflow of the retrieving and detection process and the automated model classifier construction logic. We then move on to demonstrate how the constructed classifiers can be used with multimodality features for detecting human actions. Finally, behavioral explanation manifestation is discussed. The simulator is implemented in bilingual; Math Lab and C++ are at the backend supplying data and theories while Java handles all front-end GUI and action pattern updating. To compare the usefulness of the proposed framework, several experiments were conducted and the results were obtained by using visual features only (77.89% for precision; 72.10% for recall), audio features only (62.52% for precision; 48.93% for recall) and combined audiovisual (90.35% for precision; 90.65% for recall).

An optimized framework for detection and tracking of video objects in challen...ijma
Segmentation and tracking are two important aspects in visual surveillance systems. Many barriers such as
cluttered background, camera movements, and occlusion make the robust detection and tracking a difficult
problem, especially in case of multiple moving objects. Object detection in the presence of camera noise
and with variable or unfavourable luminance conditions is still an active area of research. This paper
propose a framework which can effectively detect the moving objects and track them despite of occlusion
and a priori knowledge of objects in the scene. The segmentation step uses a robust threshold decision
algorithm which uses a multi-background model. The video object tracking is able to track multiple objects
along with their trajectories based on Continuous Energy Minimization. In this work, an effective
formulation of multi-target tracking as minimization of a continuous energy is combined with multibackground
registration. Apart from the recent approaches, it focus on making use of an energy that
corresponds to a more complete representation of the problem, rather than one that is amenable to global
optimization. Besides the image evidence, the energy function considers physical constraints, such as target
dynamics, mutual exclusion, and track persistence. The proposed tracking framework is able to track
multiple objects despite of occlusions under dynamic background conditions.

Automated detection of abnormal activity assumes a significant task in surveillance applications. This paper presents an intelligent framework video surveillance to detect abnormal human activity in an academic environment that takes into account the security and emergency aspects by focusing on three abnormal activities (falling, boxing and waving). This framework designed to consist of the two essential processes: the first one is a tracking system that can follow targets with identify sets of features to understand human activity and measure descriptive information of each target. The second one is a decision system that can realize if the activity of the target track is "normal" or "abnormal” then energizing alarm when recognized abnormal activities.

Discovering Anomalies Based on Saliency Detection and Segmentation in Surveil...ijtsrd
This paper proposes extracting salient objects from motion fields. Salient object detection is an important technique for many content-based applications, but it becomes a challenging work when handling the clustered saliency maps, which cannot completely highlight salient object regions and cannot suppress background regions. We present algorithms for recognizing activity in monocular video sequences, based on discriminative gradient Random Field. Surveillance videos capture the behavioral activities of the objects accessing the surveillance system. Some behavior is frequent sequence of events and some deviate from the known frequent sequences of events. These events are termed as anomalies and may be susceptible to criminal activities. In the past, work was based on discovering the known abnormal events. Here, the unknown abnormal activities are to be detected and alerted such that early actions are taken. K. Shankar | Dr. S. Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.
Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
