• Human following multipurpose cart is an idea to make carts movable without any
interference of human .
• What you need to do is just connect your phone with GPS and the cart will start
following you.
• It is an Arduino based project.
• We will use GPS and bluetooth based systems.
• We can add manual override mode, which will give access to joystick to control the
movement and direction of the cart.
• It is a versatile robot and can be used anywhere according to our own convenience.
• It will be used vastly in shopping malls.

• The objective of making this project is to reduce the human effort and make
shopping and carrying stuff easier and less time consuming.
• The main problem faced by elder people is to move the trolley round while
shopping.
• It will also be helpful to the handicapped section of the society.
• Coding for this project is comparatively easy and the control UI for this project
can be easily understood by every user of the shopping cart.
• It can be used by elderly and handicapped people for shopping and carrying their
stuff around.
• It can be used in hospitals to carry the medicines and medical equipment’s.
• It can be used in airports and railway stations to carry luggage.
• It can also be used in restaurants for serving food to the diner.
• It can be used in sports stadiums as to carry around water and essential supplies.
• It can be used in colleges and offices as tea trolley or to carry documents and
assignments.
• Components were hard to find
• Code was changed as the required magnetometer was not available
• Compass sometimes hangs while testing
