A Welder Career
Since I was young I always was a hands on type of kid. I see people who weld and think, wow, that s
really cool! Getting to create anything you want from metal seems pretty cool to me.After looking
through the working conditions, the education and training requirements, the salary and job outlook
for a welder, I have more knowledge of what suits me and what I want to do for a career. A welder can
fix basically any metal part that needs to be joined together. They can join beams in the construction
of buildings, bridges, and other structures and to join pipes in pipelines, power plants, and refineries.

Research Paper On Guerrilla Marketing
As competitiveness between companies nowadays is every time more and more extended, brands need
to search for ways to make it stand out among the others. Guerilla marketing is one example of this
standing out goal.
Guerrilla marketing was originally a marketing strategy in which low cost, unconventional means
were used in a localized fashion to draw attention to an idea, product, or service. Today, guerrilla
marketing may also include promotion through a network of individuals, groups, or organizations
working to popularize a product or idea by use of such strategies as flash mobs, viral marketing
campaigns, or internet marketing.
The term guerrilla marketing is traced to guerrilla warfare, which employs atypical tactics to achieve
an objective.
Guerrilla marketing was initially used by small and medium sized businesses, but it is increasingly
being adopted by big business. This concept rises from a promotion that relies on imagination rather
than a big budget.

The Founding Of Rome: Romulus and Remus History has appointed an important event, surrounded
by myth, that envelopes the foundation of the most magnificent city of the western world, Rome. The
myth was initiated by Roman scholars of the late century B.C., who despite the fact that they had not
witnessed any of the events concerning Romulus and Remus, created this myth from only a figment of
imagination and beliefs. Romans and many historians of our day owe their gratitude to these scholars
for their contribution to the history of the foundation of Rome. The existence of Remus and Romulus
has become an essential element in the establishment of Rome. Furthermore, Romulus himself ...

(Cavazzi). For this reason, historians believe that the story of Remus and Romulus might have been
based on true events. In addition, we have to consider the fact that Romans have always credited the
founding of Rome to the existence of these prominent twins, thus explaining their importance in the
establishment of this city. Furthermore, we have to recognize the importance of Rhea and the god
Mars, who played a significant role in the foundation of Rome because past events that occurred to
them led to the establishment of this city. In conclusion, despite the fact that the story of Romulus and
Remus and the founding of Rome is considered a myth, they are still recognized as an essential pillar

The benefits of school sports are visible through students everywhere. There has been a great
controversy over whether school sports are good for students and should be kept in public schools, or
not. Many important, powerful people have commented on the subject such as former NFL player,
Donte Stallworth. He wrote an article for the Huffington Post called School Sports Provide Lessons in
How to Live in 2014 where he gives details on how school sports can improve children s lives. School
sports should definitely be kept in public schools as a way to provide students with more opportunities

Character Analysis Of The Play Our Town By James Naughton
OUR TOWN
Sammie Griffin
Drama1310
November 21, 2017
I watched the play Our Town and I have to say that my views on plays and any kind of art have been
changed forever. It was directed by James Naughton. In this paper I will describe my experience as a
first time play watcher and what I thought about the play and set in general. It was set in 1938, it tells
a story of a small town of Grover s Corner in New Hampshire between 1901 and 1913. It basically
tells the story of everyday life by normal average people and lets say plenty of church s. I believe the
director and set producer are trying to bring you into that world of the early 1900 s. With the clothes
and the way the old man starts telling the play almost transports you there, you almost feel like you
could be at a small town kitchen cleaning and cooking for your polish children. They try to make it as
believable as possible. Just his language, how he says town folk , and in the holla makes you feel
almost cozy inside thinking about your own childhood. I believe them not having a big set made with
all kinds of props makes you feel the bare necessity of life back then, you didn t need much and you
really didn t get much so it brings it back to bare bones of the theatrical performance. The clothes for
the play were perfect, at least in my opinion. It looks like what the average person would wear back
then and had no fancy frills or even bright colors. It even showed an average day daughter in her teen
years. I say

Marriott To Buy Starwood Hotels, Creating World s Largest...
Summary of Article
Marriott to Buy Starwood Hotels, Creating World s Largest Hotel Company is an article I retrieved
from The New York Times, which deliberates, how Marriott International acquired Starwood Hotels
and Resorts Worldwide for $12.2 billion. The announcement was a surprise to the industry, because
Hyatt Hotel Corporation, InterContinental Hotels Group and some other Chinese companies were in
the blend to pursue the transaction, Additionally, Marriott is more considered as a dominant entity in
the hotel industry, especially in the upscale sector where Starwood also has a dominant name.
By Marriott, a strategic review begun several months ago but at first Marriott wasn t fully interested
due to higher list price. However as time went by, Marriott identified some relative shift in the value
of the company, which made it more attractive economically, and Marriott started to believe that they
can create value by merging the two company. The recognition of the value resulted a deal, which
created the world s largest hotel with more than 5,500 hotels.

Research Paper On Juvenile Delinquency
What is a Juvenile? A juvenile is a person who has not reached his or her 18th birthday. Juvenile
delinquency is the violation of a law of the United States committed by a person prior to reaching 18
years of age, which would have been a crime committed by an adult (office). There are many
residential programs put in place all over the country to help these youths that are coming in and out
of the Criminal Justice system. Once these Juveniles come out of jail, or get released on bond, they
sometimes do not have a stable place to go to and live. As these youths are leaving the jail facility
there are a wide variety of residential programs to help them get back on their feet. These residential
programs include Out of home placement in an institutional or camp like setting, or they might be
eligible for an alternative placement, such a community confinement. (programs)
Statistics shows that in 1999, nearly one in every 4 adjudicated delinquency cases resulted in out of
home placement for the juvenile. Placement cases have grown by almost 24 percent in less than 10
years, from 124,900 in 1990 to 155,200 in 1999. However, this statistic might be a bit old, recent
statistics shows that there has been a steep decline in the number of juveniles going into placement
programs. In 2006, there were about 93,000 juveniles in residential placement, and by 2008 there were
just over 86,000 in public or private residential placement facilities. There is yet to be an exact reason
on why there

Gestalt Concepts Of Self Regulation And Intrinsic...
According to Laura Perls, Gestalt is experiential and experimental. (Perls, 1992,51). Gestalt Model
focuses on reverent hospitality. The Gestalt therapy concept of growth encompasses the ability of the
organism to co create a place where organismic needs and the resources for life converge to provide a
place of human habitation. By invoking a place of habitation and rehabilitation, Gestalt therapy offers
more than mere cure and focuses on complete healing. Rehabilitation pertains to a place of belonging
and a place to inhabit that represents home to each of us. This process of journeying and dwelling is
essential. It focuses on the transpersonal and spiritual interiority of the person. Gestalt therapy started
when Perls, Hefferline, and Goodman published Gestalt Therapy: Excitement and Growth in the
Human Personality in 1951 (Levine, 2010). Gestalt Model considers the interrelation between
personal and social factors as well as cultural and individual aspects. I think that we need to enlarge
the concepts of organismic self regulation and intrinsic evaluation. This method helps people to
become more aware of both their connection and interrelation with broader systems and its intrinsic
power to help transform them.
The one corner stone I chose: The Power of Awareness It was believed that contact/change moves
through eight stages: the emergence of need; the attempt to play out the need; the mobilization of the
internal struggle; statement of theme incorporating the need

Provide early treatment, including access to drug treatment and rehabilitation programs. Reduce risk
of the client re offending. The Bail support program also aids an accused person that would otherwise
be remanded in custody to be granted bail and to remain on bail to satisfy the conditions of their bail.
A decrease of relevant services to aid youth to gain bail and meet the conditions has been noted as
possibly contributing towards the large number of youth on custodial remand, mainly for the
indigenous community and younger people who reside in more remote and regional areas.
Because of this the provision aid in finishing bail orders can partake a critical role in decreasing rates
of custodial remand. The bail Support programs are mainly aimed at the youth or adults, to distinguish
the different needs of the groups. The jurisdictions youth Justice department or non government
organisations give them. The Bail support program was created from two other bail programs. The

would normally be in custody. Reduce the amount of accused kept in remand because of lack of
treatment, support from the community and lack of accommodation.

Sundiata An Epic Of Old Mali Summary
The sacred traditions, customs, and beliefs of ancient Mali is a story of epic proportions. To retrieve
the great lineage of the First Kings of Mali and learn the history behind certain rituals told by an
exquisite narrative that is perfectly woven together through different stories. The legend of Sundiata
stresses the importance of understanding and respecting one s history. In D. T. Niane s Sundiata An
Epic of Old Mali, the African history of Mali is presented through tribal customs, honor, and jealousy
between brothers.
Years and years ago in Africa, certain customs and traditions were set in place that governed different
regions and tribes. People in Mali had a unique tradition bearer. In the first chapter of Niane s
Sundiata An Epic of Old Mali, the reader is introduced to a griot who explains his role and his
ancestor s knowledge on ancient Mali. The art of eloquence has no secrets for us; without us the
names of kings would vanish into oblivion,... by the spoken word we bring to life the deeds and
exploits of kings for younger generations. (Page 1) In a humble but guaranteed tone, the griot assures
the reader that he is the keeper of all. His knowledge expands beyond what is now and covers what
has been. Everything that has occurred in the kingdom of Mali is imperative for the griots to
remember so the future kings would understand their heritage. They are the overseers of knowledge
and without them there is no way the kings of Mali would have flourished.

The Importance Of Medical Coverage
Generally speaking, you should make sure that as a minimum you have coverage for life, health and
disability. Whatever coverage you already have for those things when you are at home is likely not
going to cover you when you are off on a trip. Thus, if you do not have coverage for the trip, you may
find that you are either turned away for medical treatment because you cannot afford it or you wind up
saddled with a large bill that will take years to pay off. Whether you are going overseas or merely out
of state, it is important to get the right coverage well before you go. Many people are aware they need
to consider medical coverage in case of emergency while they are away, but what is often overlooked
is the possibility that something will happen before they leave, forcing them to cancel the trip. The
right coverage can really save your bacon in the event that an expensive trip gets cancelled due to
unforeseen events. In addition to making sure you can get your money back if an expensive trip gets

Who Is Willy Wonka A Naturalist
One is given many optional ways on how to think and coexist in this world. Whether the center of
your life is solely nature, a mystical being, or God, you are isolated by divisional barriers based upon
your mental state. A naturalist believes that everything can be explained as a product of a combination
of physical facts and physical laws. Naturalism deals with more raw and explicit details of life rather
than focusing on the happy endings that a realist would rely on. In Naturalism one s actions are
controlled by nature, their environment, or heredity. As you venture into the mind of a Naturalist you
will be able to see that God has nothing to do with this way of life. This group of people thrive off of
preconceived notions rather than on the idea of change ; therefore evolution played a major role in
Naturalism. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

caused Wonka s fate. This film is mainly about a boy who s family is financially unstable and very

how bad others were struggling. Naturalists put an end to the idea of fairytales and began feeding the

J.R.R. Tolkien starts his world renowned book The Hobbit with, In a hole in the ground there lived a
hobbit (1). This book is a tale of a small hobbit named Bilbo and his ever memorable journey through
the evil world during his time. Living in the Shire, as his homeland is called, it is very calm and
pleasant for Bilbo, but once the outer limits of the land are reached Bilbo is in for a great surprise.
Needing a burglar on his journey Gandalf the Grey, who is famous for his magic with fire and light,

Bilbo listened intently as the dwarves sang songs and told poems of their long ago taken land. Singing
of golden hoards and long forgotten gold Bilbo began to become very enthusiastic about the soon to
come journey (22). As the dwarves went on, the hobbit felt that this journey would be good for him.
He accepted the task, but not before the Dwarves, along with Gandalf, enchanted the young hobbit
with the treasure to be found. Being fairly wealthy Bilbo had no need for this wealth, but before long
the hobbit could feel the love of beautiful things made by hands and by cunning and by magic moving
through him, and a fierce and jealous love, the desire of the hearts of dwarves (24). Apparently Bilbo
is beginning to change from a commoner to a treasure seeker, not quite beginning to become a hero,
but change is still change. Soon Bilbo s transition into a hero will begin, with a rude awakening.
So before Bilbo new what was happening and even before dawn the next morning the troop of fifteen
set out. Through the Shire no adventure or trouble was found, but that soon changed. Within a few
leagues of the Shire s border young Bilbo encountered his first adventure. Walking slowly through the
dark, Gandalf quickly stopped and hushed the others. Up above the road a small fire could be seen and
cold, low voices could be heard singing of roasted mutton. Bilbo was sent to see what was up above

Case Study Of Camelot
Camelot is an ice cream company. It makes high quality packs of ice creams and distributes mostly to
quality restaurants and hotels. Camelot faces problems in terms of restricted requirement issues
regarding the expiry date, deep freeze depots, warehouses, stakeholders like salespeople, truck drivers
and clerks. The salesperson returns expired packs already returned once, on behalf of unreal customers
and get the refund cheque. Overselling is one of the reasons causing losses to Camelot. Delivering
excessive quantities to customers, then collecting the returns takes a lot of costs. The salespeople
should be equipped with a system which can report the customers demands. Moreover, every year
Camelot has to pay a lot of money for advertising bills, which could be reduced by defining the
market better. Lack of survey and understanding about the customers, reduces the efficiency of

What Is The Sociological Imagination
C. Wright Mills published this book in 1959. The Sociological Imagination is the awareness of the
relationship between personal experience and wider society. His main goal of the book was to merge
two different concepts of social reality, the individual and society. The ability to see things socially
and how they interact and influence each other. Mills emphasized the importance of seeing the
connections between social structure and individual experience and agency. He also talks about
personal troubles and public issues. What we often see and experience as personal troubles, like being
unemployed and not being able to pay yours bill are actually public issues. These are the result of
social problems that goes on in society and affect many

Analysis Of Gryphon By Charles Baxter
Gryphon is an thrilling fiction story by the funny author Charles Baxter. The story take place in a
classroom in Five Oaks, Michigan and is about an ordinary 6th grade boy, Tommy who encounters a
strange sub named Ms. Ferenczi. The message that Charles Baxter is giving us is that everyone is
different and nothing is wrong with that. Firstly, Ms. Ferenczi doesn t act like the other substitute
teachers in rural Michigan throughout the text. For example, Ms. Ferenczi prefers to eat with the kids
over eating with the teachers in the teachers lounge. Ms. Ferenczi strongly argues That s fine, ... But I
shall continue to eat here, with you children. I prefer it, (p. 51 lines 265 267). This shows that Ms.

Planarian Limbs Experiment
Many organisms easily lose limbs and can grow them back again. Scientists have studied various
organisms that are able to repair damaged body parts, such as lizards, spiders, sponges, and sharks.
These are a few organisms that undergo regeneration with different body parts such as tails, legs, body
divisions, and teeth. The process of regeneration describes the replacement, renewal, and restoration
of lost body parts.
Dugesia tigrina are flatworms of the Turbellaria class that can live in saltwater or freshwater
environments (Reddien and Alvarado 2004). These flatworms are also known as planaria and are
notorious for their great ability of regeneration. The purpose of this experiment was to test if the
regrowth of the planarian limbs was affected by light.

This one is resulting from the religious principles of Islam, mainly the Quran and the Hadith.
However, Sharia law is the law of Islam, This law is originally based on the actions and words of
Muhammad, which are named Sunnah, and the Quran, that he wrote (2016). The Sharia law covers

beliefs. Out of all the legal systems throughout the world currently, Islam s Sharia law is the utmost
disturbing and firm, particularly contrary to women. For example, according to the law a man can beat
his wife for disobedience, a woman cannot speak alone to a man who is not her relative of husband,
and a female heir inherits half of what a male heir inherits and other laws against them. These laws
that have been made really shows no fairness to the rights women. Islamic law signifies one and only

Individualism In Persepolis
In Marjane Satrapi s graphic novel, Persepolis, the effects of revolution and women s suffrage shapes
Satrapi s individualism and the way she writes Persepolis. However, these effects could also be the
reasoning for conformity throughout the nation and her graphic novel. Satrapi uses symbols such as
veiling, her rebellious actions as a teen and culture to show originality. Veiling could of meant various
things to women in Iran in the 1970s, some would say Satrapi does not show any significance to the

being properly veiled; that could be a reason for why there was so many women willing to conform
and veil himself. However Satrapi never mentions other reasons women would want to veil

Real Estate Development Personal Statement

That was the feedback that I received after completing the lengthy MBTI (Myers Briggs Type

I studied architecture for three years in college and spent a summer working as an architect intern at
XWG Architecture Studio in Beijing, China. During that time, I participated in a commercial complex

Competitive Grading Sabotages Good Teaching
I believe that competitive grading sabotages good teaching. From being a student, I know that students
do not enjoy a class where they know that their teacher is against them. When teachers grade anything,
they should point out mistakes; however, they should point out what is correct too in order to
encourage students. Teachers should not feel good about themselves when many students fail an
examination or do not do well on a paper; instead, they should realize that they have not taught their
students well. Many teacher see grades as a numbers game; for example, they may not want to give
away many As. However, if many students do work that is A material, they may grade some students

Throughout historical evidence government shouldn t be limited to combat terrorism. For instance,
according to amendment 14 no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without the due

Moreover, Amendment 4 states that it is the right of the people to be secure in one s personal

Aerospace Engineering
While the field of engineering is immensely broad, mechanical engineering is known to be one of the
most fundamental engineering disciplines as well as one of the oldest. Mechanical engineering
involves the design and study of objects or machinery and their motion. It includes the details of the
materials used to build these objects and the processes involved in the building. The discipline itself is
also a very broad area of study because within mechanical engineering are more specific studies such

Mechanical engineering is the foundation for this area because it involves aspects such as propulsion
and dynamics (Long). Aerospace engineering consists of two main areas, aeronautical engineering and
astronautical engineering which focuses on the space aspect of the branch. The first major step in
aerospace engineering took place at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina in 1903 when the Wright brothers
flew the first powered aircraft paving the way for the advancements that came to be in such a short
period of time. Within a little over one hundred years, the aviation industry has gone from the first
flight lasting about 12 seconds at approximately 6 knots to having thousands of flights daily lasting
hours at a time at speeds in excess of 300 knots (thewrightbrothers.org). Aerospace engineering has
also allowed mankind to explore above and beyond our world. Thanks to space travel, scientists with
agencies such as NASA have been able to study more about our solar system and other galaxies with
spacecraft such as the space shuttles and telescopes such as the Hubble Telescope. Within the same
one hundred years, all of these accomplishments have been made. Therefore aerospace engineering is

Case Study Of Krispy Kreme And Dunkin Donuts
It is an essential to have clear understanding of an organization s purposes to understand how
organization works and its method of working can be improved. Usually, general objectives lead to
clarification of purposes and responsibilities at all level of organizations. Management is the process

Here, I would have used Fayol s Principle as the management approaches. According to Robert
Kreitner (2012), Fayol recognized there was no limit to the principles of management. And, Fayol s

that there were six primary functions of management and fourteen principles of management. Based
on his point of view, a manager must attain proper feedback process in order to make necessary

Canterbury Tales Relationships
Relationships in The Canterbury Tales The Church during the Middle Ages was responsible for
generating a great deal of the anti feminist theology, which perpetuated the subjugation of women.
The Medieval Church taught that women were inferior to men and that they should be compliant and
obedient to their fathers and husbands. The Canterbury Tales give insight into the society of the time
including social structure, relationships among different genders and classes, and the cultural rules and
limits. By depicting the disproportionate relationship between men and women during the fourteenth
century, Chaucer confirms his beliefs of misogyny and the portrayal of women as passive objects.

The Knight s Tale And The Tempest Analysis
Service in love often has a positive connotation which suggests a profound love, whereas possession
generally receives a negative connotation suggesting a superficial love. However, Geoffrey Chaucer
and William Shakespeare explore in depth the roles of both possession and service in love and reveal
to their readers which one is ultimately the superior way to gain love. The stories of The Knight s Tale
and The Tempest are different thematically, yet the thread which unites them both expresses similar
ideas regarding love, possession and service. Both William Shakespeare and Geoffrey Chaucer show

This can be seen through a comparison of parallel protagonists Palamon and Ferdinand, as well as
parallel antagonists Arcite and Caliban. Their many similarities reveal an insight to each author s view
of love and how it is gained. Palamon and Ferdinand are men of the heart who do not have the girl
initially, nor do they claim her. Instead, they wish the best for her and are willing to work for and serve
her, regardless of the outcome. In contrast, Arcite and Caliban are men of the physical who take the
woman they love by force and physically serve her in order to fulfill their prideful desires, completely
disregarding the wishes of their beloved. Strikingly, all four of these men are of noble birth, and all
four willingly lower themselves from a position of power to a position of service in order to gain a
woman s love; however, only the men who also serve her selflessly succeed in winning her love. Both
men of the heart end up getting the girl in the metaphorical sense, although it takes time and they must
be patient. In contrast, the men who have the girl initially Arcite and Caliban begin by taking her by
force and have her in the literal sense, but lose her in the end. All of these elements show that Chaucer
and Shakespeare believe the selfless and humble approach to be the most effective way to gain

Knowledge Management Within An Organization
Knowledge management within an organization is affected by the political practices, the methods of

Character Analysis Of The Play Our Town By James Naughton OUR TOWN Sammie Griffin Drama1310 November 21, 2017 I watched the play Our Town and I have to say that my views on plays and any kind of art have been changed forever. It was directed by James Naughton. In this paper I will describe my experience as a first time play watcher and what I thought about the play and set in general. It was set in 1938, it tells a story of a small town of Grover s Corner in New Hampshire between 1901 and 1913. It basically tells the story of everyday life by normal average people and lets say plenty of church s. I believe the director and set producer are trying to bring you into that world of the early 1900 s. With the clothes and the way the old man starts telling the play almost transports you there, you almost feel like you could be at a small town kitchen cleaning and cooking for your polish children. They try to make it as believable as possible. Just his language, how he says town folk , and in the holla makes you feel almost cozy inside thinking about your own childhood. I believe them not having a big set made with all kinds of props makes you feel the bare necessity of life back then, you didn t need much and you really didn t get much so it brings it back to bare bones of the theatrical performance. The clothes for the play were perfect, at least in my opinion. It looks like what the average person would wear back then and had no fancy frills or even bright colors. It even showed an average day daughter in her teen years. I say ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Juvenile delinquency is the violation of a law of the United States committed by a person prior to reaching 18 years of age, which would have been a crime committed by an adult (office). There are many residential programs put in place all over the country to help these youths that are coming in and out of the Criminal Justice system. Once these Juveniles come out of jail, or get released on bond, they sometimes do not have a stable place to go to and live. As these youths are leaving the jail facility there are a wide variety of residential programs to help them get back on their feet. These residential programs include Out of home placement in an institutional or camp like setting, or they might be eligible for an alternative placement, such a community confinement. • 13. Gestalt Concepts Of Self Regulation And Intrinsic... According to Laura Perls, Gestalt is experiential and experimental. (Perls, 1992,51). Gestalt Model focuses on reverent hospitality. The Gestalt therapy concept of growth encompasses the ability of the organism to co create a place where organismic needs and the resources for life converge to provide a place of human habitation. By invoking a place of habitation and rehabilitation, Gestalt therapy offers more than mere cure and focuses on complete healing. Rehabilitation pertains to a place of belonging and a place to inhabit that represents home to each of us. This process of journeying and dwelling is essential. It focuses on the transpersonal and spiritual interiority of the person. Gestalt therapy started when Perls, Hefferline, and Goodman published Gestalt Therapy: Excitement and Growth in the Human Personality in 1951 (Levine, 2010). Gestalt Model considers the interrelation between personal and social factors as well as cultural and individual aspects. I think that we need to enlarge the concepts of organismic self regulation and intrinsic evaluation. This method helps people to become more aware of both their connection and interrelation with broader systems and its intrinsic power to help transform them.
